GROUP GRIEVANCE INITIATION (FORMAL). A. The Union shall file the grievance in writing with the General Manager, or designee, of the affected department within twenty (20) business days following the day the issue arose. To the extent possible, the filing shall include the issue of the grievance, proposed solution(s), the names of the employees impacted by the issue, and the specific facts pertaining to each grievant. All employees participating in the grievance must waive their respective rights to file an individual grievance on the same issue by completing an individual grievance waiver form prior to the meeting with the General Manager.
