Governance: Committee Participation. Whenever College appointed standing or ad hoc committees containing faculty representation shall forward written recommendation to the appropriate administrator, said administrator shall respond, in writing, to that committee as to the disposition of the recommendation(s) as well as reason(s) for the disposition. Where possible, committee meetings will be scheduled to allow maximum full-time faculty participation. The following standing committees: Academic Leadership Council (ALC), College Curriculum Committee (CCC), and Instructional Coordinating Council (ICC) will continue to meet as currently scheduled. The College Curriculum Committee (CCC) and the Academic Leadership Council (ALC) will each include a Full-time Faculty Co-Chair. Every spring of even numbered years, the Xxxxxxx and Vice President of Academic Affairs will solicit faculty representation for the academic committees of their choice. All Full-time Faculty, with the exception of lecturers, will serve on at least one academic committee of their choice for a two (2) year term. Every effort will be made to honor committee choices. However, for the purposes of ensuring adequate representation on all academic committees, the Xxxxxxx and Vice President of Academic Affairs may request that faculty serve on an alternative committee.

  • Committee Participation 9.01 Except as otherwise provided in this Collective Agreement, an Employee (or the Employee’s alternate) who is a member and attends meetings of a committee established by the Employer, shall be paid at the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay for attendance at such meetings. Such participation shall be voluntary.

  • Selection Committee A. Each building site will appoint a selection committee for the TLS. The committee shall be comprised of equal numbers of teachers and administrators and at least one teacher will be appointed by the Des Moines Education Association.

  • Board Committees The Director hereby agrees to sit in the relevant committees of the Board and to perform all of the duties, services and responsibilities necessary thereunder.

  • Benefits Advisory Committee The Board agrees to establish a Benefits Advisory Committee to provide stakeholder input into maintaining quality and affordable benefits. The focus of this committee shall be to:

  • Special Education Committee The parties agree to establish a committee comprised of representatives from ETFO, the Ministry of Education and school board leadership in the area of special education. Additional representatives may be invited as resources to the committee as needed. The committee will discuss current issues as identified by the parties related to supporting students with special education needs. The committee shall meet regularly commencing no later than November 30, 2015 and recommendations will be made to the Minister of Education by April 30, 2016. Terms of reference will be jointly developed to inform the scope of discussions and recommendations. LETTER OF AGREEMENT #6 BETWEEN The Ontario Public School Board Association (hereinafter called ‘OPSBA’) AND The Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario (hereinafter called the ‘ETFO’) AND

  • Education Committee (a) The Employer will establish an Education Committee for all employees in the facility, which shall include at least one representative from ONA members.

  • Compensation Committee (A) The Compensation Committee shall be composed of not more than five (5) members who shall be selected by the Board of Directors from its own members who are not officers of the Company and who shall hold office during the pleasure of the Board.

  • EMPLOYEE-MANAGEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE 33.01 (a) An Employee-Management Advisory Committee (EMAC) shall be established within three (3) months of the signing of the Collective Agreement.   • Advisory Committee The Settling State shall designate an Opioid Settlement Remediation Advisory Committee (the “Advisory Committee”) to provide input and recommendations regarding remediation spending from that Settling State’s Abatement Accounts Fund. A Settling State may elect to use an existing advisory committee or similar entity (created outside of a State-Subdivision Agreement or Allocation Statute); provided, however, the Advisory Committee or similar entity shall meet the following requirements:
