Full Time Pharmacy Technician Alternative Workweek Schedule. With written agreement by the Employer, the Union and employee, an employee may work an alternate work schedule consisting of shifts of not more than ten (10) hours at straight-time within four (4) days in any workweek. Approval of such alternate work schedule shall not be withheld arbitrarily or discriminatorily by the Union. If a response by the Union is not given in two (2) weeks, it shall be deemed approved by the Union. The Employer shall take the following steps to implement the alternative workweek schedule: During the first year of the contract, the Employer shall request employees to voluntarily participate in the alternative workweek schedule. After the first year of the contract, the Employer will select employees to participate in the alternative workweek schedule by reverse seniority.

  • Curriculum Work Service on a District curriculum committee shall be required for grade level or department chairpersons. All other teachers working on such committee(s) shall be designated (in writing) by the Curriculum Director and shall be paid, at the hourly rate contained in Schedule B, for all documented hours of committee service (up to such limits as may be imposed by the District) occurring when school is not in session (e.g. during the summer), during duty-free lunch periods or preparation periods, and before/after the teacher’s regularly scheduled work day. Curriculum committee work shall occur at such times as are determined or approved by the Curriculum Director.

  • Standard Work Week The standard work week shall be thirty-five (35) hours and is composed of five (5) consecutive standard work days.

  • Alternative Work Schedule An alternate forty (40) hour work schedule (other than five (5) uniform and consecutive eight (8) hour days in a seven (7) day period), or for hospital personnel an eighty (80) hour workweek in a fourteen (14) day period and other mutually agreed upon schedules that comply with applicable federal and state law. Employee work schedules normally include two (2) consecutive days off.

  • Flexible Work Hours Upon request of an authorized employee, the State may establish flexible work hours for a Xxxx 00 employee upon agreement between the employee and the employer. Any flexible work hour schedule shall not exceed thirty (30) days.

  • Time Worked For purposes of computing the eight (8) hour day or the forty (40) hour week to determine entitlement to overtime pay, all sick leave, vacation leave, and holidays shall count as time worked to be added to other hours worked.

  • Four Day Work Week Schedule i. When working under the four (4) day work week schedule, Employees shall be paid at double time (2x) the regular hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of the regular ten (10) hours per day Monday through Thursday.

  • Extra Work At any time during the Term of this Agreement, City may request that Consultant perform Extra Work. As used herein, “Extra Work” means any work which is determined by City to be necessary for the proper completion of the Project, but which the Parties did not reasonably anticipate would be necessary at the execution of this Agreement. Consultant shall not perform, nor be compensated for, Extra Work without written authorization from City’s Representative.

  • PREVAILING WAGE RATES - PUBLIC WORKS AND BUILDING SERVICES CONTRACTS If any portion of work being Bid is subject to the prevailing wage rate provisions of the Labor Law, the following shall apply:

  • Requirement to Work Reasonable Overtime The Employer may require any Employee to work reasonable overtime at overtime rates and such an Employee shall work overtime in accordance with the requirement.
