Common use of EXTENDED LEAVES OF ABSENCE Clause in Contracts

EXTENDED LEAVES OF ABSENCE. A. A leave of absence for up to two (2) years without pay may be granted at the Board's discretion to a tenured teacher who joins the Peace Corps, VISTA, or serves as an exchange teacher or overseas teacher, and is either a full-time participant in such programs or accepts a scholarship or fellowship.
