Existing set of indicators. CSES has conducted a thorough review of the indicators used for the different measures of the Programme. The analysis was initially based on the four EIP Work Programmes for years 2007-2010 where each proposed measure is presented in a separate fiche with reference to the specific objectives of the measure and the linkage with the overall objectives of the EIP, together with a description of the activities supported and a section referring to the indicators to be used. An excel spreadsheet was helpfully provided by DG ENTR Unit A1 summarising most of the indicators used during the period 2007- 2010 and providing specific values when available. These data were complemented by the interviews with Commission officials and reference to additional documents. In total 131 indicators from 11 measures were reviewed. In the analysis of the indicators for each measure, the following key questions/issues were examined: - Do they provide qualitative or quantitative information? - Do they provide operational information related to the outputs of the supported activities or do they focus on the expected results and impacts of the measure? - What type of performance evaluation questions do they help address?5 - Are there any issues/problems with the collection of data/information? - Are they consistent with indicators provided for other measures?

  • Aggravating and Mitigating Factors The penalties in this matter were determined in consideration of all relevant circumstances, including statutory factors as described in CARB’s Enforcement Policy. CARB considered whether the violator came into compliance quickly and cooperated with the investigation; the extent of harm to public health, safety and welfare; nature and persistence of the violation, including the magnitude of the excess emissions; compliance history; preventative efforts taken; innovative nature and the magnitude of the effort required to comply, and the accuracy, reproducibility, and repeatability of the available test methods; efforts to attain, or provide for, compliance prior to violation; action taken to mitigate the violation; financial burden to the violator; and voluntary disclosure. The penalties are set at levels sufficient to deter violations, to remove any economic benefit or unfair advantage from noncompliance, to obtain swift compliance, and the potential costs, risks, and uncertainty associated with litigation. Penalties in future cases might be smaller or larger depending on the unique circumstances of the case.

  • Targets and Milestones You may choose to develop specific additional targets and milestones which assess your performance in ITT over time – particularly if ITT trainees make up a significant proportion of your overall student body. Alternatively, you may have targets and milestones in your existing 2012-13 access agreement which you now also wish to apply to undergraduate and/or postgraduate ITT trainees. These targets may be statistical – based on how representative your entrants are and/or your retention performance – and might include annual or interim milestones to help you monitor whether you are making progress. You may wish to include criteria around the numbers of trainees in receipt of a full or partial maintenance grant, as financial data will need to be collected to determine bursary support and the data will also be accessible through the Student Loans Company for HEBSS subscribers. Where you have new or amended milestones and targets, you should set these out in your Excel template (Annex B) at Table 6. The University of Cambridge does not intend to adjust its current targets or to develop additional targets and milestones for its ITT provision. The number of students on the PGCE programme amount to less than 4% of the total population of Cambridge students with which the Office for Fair Access is concerned, and all of those students have already experienced a first taste of higher education. It would therefore be disproportionate to set specific aims and objectives for this group.

  • Development Milestones In addition to its obligations under Paragraph 7.1, LICENSEE specifically commits to achieving the following development milestones in its diligence activities under this AGREEMENT: (a) (b).

  • RECOGNITION OUTCOMES The receiving institution commits to provide the sending institution and the student with a Transcript of Records within a period stipulated in the inter-institutional agreement and normally not longer than five weeks after publication/proclamation of the student’s results at the receiving institution. The Transcript of Records from the receiving institution will contain at least the minimum information requested in this Learning Agreement template. Table E (or the representation that the institution makes of it) will include all the educational components agreed in table A and, if there were changes to the study programme abroad, in table C. In addition, grade distribution information should be included in the Transcript of Records or attached to it (a web link where this information can be found is enough). The actual start and end dates of the study period will be included according to the following definitions: The start date of the study period is the first day the student has been present at the receiving institution, for example, for the first course, for a welcoming event organised by the host institution or for language and intercultural courses. The end date of the study period is the last day the student has been present at the receiving institution and not his actual date of departure. This is, for example, the end of exams period, courses or mandatory sitting period. Following the receipt of the Transcript of Records from the receiving institution, the sending institution commits to provide to the student a Transcript of Records, without further requirements from the student, and normally within five weeks. The sending institution's Transcript of Records must include at least the information listed in table F (the recognition outcomes) and attach the receiving institution's Transcript of Record.   • RECOGNITION & SCOPE 1.1 The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all employees of the Employer, including part-time, casual and temporary employees in accordance with the decision of the Ontario Labour Relations Board dated January 11, 2001, and the terms of the Memorandum of Agreement between the Ottawa Transition Board and all predecessor bargaining agents dated October 18, 2000, regarding bargaining unit scope. See Appendix A.

  • Milestones Subject to the provisions of the SGIP, the Parties shall agree on milestones for which each Party is responsible and list them in Attachment 4 of this Agreement. A Party’s obligations under this provision may be extended by agreement. If a Party anticipates that it will be unable to meet a milestone for any reason other than a Force Majeure event, it shall immediately notify the other Parties of the reason(s) for not meeting the milestone and (1) propose the earliest reasonable alternate date by which it can attain this and future milestones, and (2) requesting appropriate amendments to Attachment 4. The Party affected by the failure to meet a milestone shall not unreasonably withhold agreement to such an amendment unless it will suffer significant uncompensated economic or operational harm from the delay, (1) attainment of the same milestone has previously been delayed, or (2) it has reason to believe that the delay in meeting the milestone is intentional or unwarranted notwithstanding the circumstances explained by the Party proposing the amendment.
