EVALUATION AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS Sample Clauses
The 'Evaluation and Professional Standards' clause establishes the criteria and processes by which the performance and conduct of parties, typically service providers or professionals, are assessed during the course of an agreement. It often outlines the benchmarks, industry standards, or specific metrics that must be met, and may require regular reviews or reporting to ensure compliance. By setting clear expectations and measurable standards, this clause helps maintain quality, accountability, and consistency in the delivery of services or professional work.
EVALUATION AND PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS. The parties endorse a high level of professional preparation and competence for all members of the bargaining unit. Attaining and maintaining high professional standards requires a joint commitment to provide the assistance, support, and proper teaching environment needed for the success of the bargaining unit member. Standards shall be clear and consistent. Beginning with the 2000-2001 school year, the parties shall use the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP), or otherwise mutually agreed-to modifications of the CSTP. A jointly developed continuum of professional standards, based on the CSTP, will serve as a guide for reflective practice, continuous improvement, and evaluation.
