Employees on Reinstatement List. (a) Except as provided in clause where an Employee whose name is on the Reinstatement List, for a vacancy and is qualified for the vacancy through the of' the specified in clause the College shall appoint the Employee the position. Where two or more Employees whose names are on Reinstatement List apply for and are qualified for a posted vacancy, College shall appoint the Employee with the greatest seniority. The College shall not grant an extension to a term appointment beyond the current academic year until such positions have been made available first to Employees who are subject to layoff procedures pursuant to Article Reductions, Xxxxxx, and to Employees on the List.

  • Employees on Layoff A classified employee who receives an Employer Contribution, who has three (3) or more years of continuous service, and who has been permanently or seasonally laid off, remains eligible for an Employer Contribution and all other benefits provided under this Article for an extended benefit eligibility period of six (6) months from the date of layoff.

  • Probation for Newly Hired Employees (a) The Employer may reject a probationary employee for just cause. A rejection during probation shall not be considered a dismissal for the purpose of Article 11.2
