Employee to Inform Employer. The employee shall inform the Employer as soon as possible of her inability to report to work because of illness or injury. The employee shall provide notice to the Employer by 5:00 p.m. the day before returning to work. This does not apply to the cases of extended sick leave.

Notwithstanding the above, the employee returning to work may access sick leave credits equivalent to the Employer by 5:00 p.m. difference between hours worked and sick leave that would have been paid during the day before returning to work. This does not apply to the cases of extended sick leaveschedule already in effect.
