Dockside Monitoring. 1. All members agree to hail trip start and trip end via VMS (or satellite phone, cellular phone, or NMFS approved vessel reporting software) to the Sector Manager and their selected Dockside monitoring company.
Dockside Monitoring. 5 Each member agrees to comply with the dockside monitoring provisions described in the 6 following section and the NMFS Dockside Monitoring regulations in 50 CFR 648.87. 7 8 The Tri-State Sector will contract with one or more NMFS-approved monitoring providers to 9 provide dockside and/or at sea monitoring services before May 1, 2011 and will notify NMFS of 10 its selection. 13 If a Dockside Monitoring Company contracted by the Tri State Sector loses its certification 14 during the fishing year, the Sector will establish a contract with another approved company and 15 notify NMFS. 17 Dockside monitors will be deployed in such a way as to achieve the NMFS required coverage of 18 trips that is random and representative of the fishing activities of the Sector. 19

Such work to be paid at single time rates. Productive work will continue in areas not so affected.
