Common use of Dismissal and Suspension Grievance Clause in Contracts

Dismissal and Suspension Grievance. All dismissal and suspension grievances shall be filed at Step 3 of the grievance procedure. It is understood that all Step 3 grievances shall be dealt with by the City Manager. A copy of the written notice of the dismissal or suspension shall be forwarded to the staff representative of the Union within five working days of action being taken.
