Description of the Bargaining Unit. ‌ The Employer recognizes the Association as exclusive representative for all employees in the classifications included in the Professional State Residential Instructional Unit No. 15 by the Legislative Commission on Employee Relations or by Bureau determination who are public employees within the meaning of Minn. Stat. 179A.03, Subd. 14, including the Arts Education Teacher classification, excluding supervisory employees, confidential employees, and other employees excluded by the Public Employment Labor Relations Act, Minn. Stat. 179A.01, et. seq. (Employees working fourteen (14) hours/week or less or sixty-seven (67) days/calendar year or less are excluded.) The Employer will not meet and negotiate or meet and confer with any organization other than the Association as long as the Association is the duly authorized exclusive bargaining representative of Unit No. 15, Professional State Residential Instructional Unit.
