DEDUCTION OF PROFESSIONAL DUES, FEES, AND ASSESSMENTS. 1. Upon appropriate written authorization, the Institute agrees to deduct the dues, fees, and assessments of members of the Chapter levied in accordance with the Constitution and By-Laws of the Chapter or alternative charitable contribution in the amount certified by the Treasurer of the AAUP from the salary paid to each member of the bargaining unit. It is the responsibility of the Chapter to obtain such written authorization forms from the members.

  • UNION DUES AND ASSESSMENTS (a) The Employer shall, as a condition of employment, deduct from the wages or salary of each employee in the bargaining unit, whether or not the employee is a member of the Union, the amount of the regular dues payable to the Union by a member of the Union.

  • PROFESSIONAL DUES OR FEES AND PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS 5.1 Any unit member who is a member of the Association, or who has applied for membership, may sign and deliver to the District an assignment authorizing deduction of unified membership dues, initiation fees, and general assessments of the Association. Pursuant to such authorization, the District shall deduct one-tenth of such dues from the regular salary check of the bargaining unit member each month for ten (10) months.   • Legal Fees and Costs In the event a party elects to incur legal expenses to enforce or interpret any provision of this Agreement by judicial proceedings, the prevailing party will be entitled to recover such legal expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees, costs, and necessary disbursements at all court levels, in addition to any other relief to which such party shall be entitled.

  • REIMBURSEMENT OF FEES AND COSTS The Parties acknowledge that Xxxxxxxx and his counsel offered to reach preliminary agreement on the material terms of this dispute before reaching terms on the amount of fees and costs to be reimbursed to them. Nothing shall obligate or cause a Party to pay or be liable to pay any taxes, fees and levies for which it is exempt under law.

Unit members serving one-half time paid service or less shall pay one-half of the dues and representation fee.

  • Professional Dues The school district will pay the annual dues for the Superintendent’s membership in the American Association of School Administrators, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, and Nebraska Council of School Administrators. The Superintendent’s membership in other professional organizations will be considered annually and may be approved at the discretion of the school board.
