DEBRIS MANANGMENT. The Disposal Contractor will be required to coordinate and work with the DMS Contractor that will be managing the DMS. Within 7 calendar days after Notice of award, the Disposal Contractor, the DMS Contractor, and The Contracting Officer Representative (COR) will have a coordination meeting regarding but not limited to the work area, schedules for loading the debris, and shared use of the two inspection towers. Once all of the permits and other requirements are in place, the Contractor will be issued a Notice to Proceed (NTP) by the Contracting Officer and shall commence mobilization within 10 days after issuance of the NTP. All disposal shall be completed within 90 days of NTP. Weekly coordination meetings between all parties shall occur as directed by the COR. The Contractor shall be responsible for transporting the reduced debris from the DMS location to the load out facility to be arranged by the Contractor. It is anticipated that a deep water port will be required for loading the reduced debris for shipment off the island. The Contractor shall be responsible for all coordination with port authorities in the USVI to provide shipment and loading of the debris for transport outside of the USVI Territory. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing the hauling, loading and shipment methods as part of their proposal. The Contractor shall also be responsible for managing the debris to the final disposal location. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for identifying the final disposal location and making all arrangements for any off loading and hauling to the final disposal location. During all handling of the debris, including loading and hauling, the Contractor shall be responsible for dust management. If dust management is not sufficient or effective, the COR has the right to halt operations at the Contractor’s expense until new dust control measures are in place to eliminate the dust.

  • Dewatering 4.7.1 Where a part of a site is affected by surface water following a period of rain, thus rendering some areas unsafe for productive work, consistent with the Employer’s obligations under the OH&S Act, all non- trades employees shall assist in ‘dewatering’ their own work site or area if it is so affected. Such work to be paid at single time rates. Productive work will continue in areas not so affected.

  • Drainage Systems (1) Clear culvert inlets, outlets, and sediment catching basins.

  • Plant The expression ‘Plant’ as used in the tender papers shall mean every temporary accessory necessary or considered necessary by the Engineer to execute, construct, complete and maintain the work and all altered, modified, substituted and additional works ordered in the time and the manner herein provided and all temporary materials and special and other articles and appliance of every sort kind and description whatsoever intended or used therefore.

  • Classroom Management The certificated classroom teacher demonstrates in his/her performance a competent level of knowledge and skill in organizing the physical and human elements in the educational setting.

  • Infrastructure Vulnerability Scanning Supplier will scan its internal environments (e.g., servers, network devices, etc.) related to Deliverables monthly and external environments related to Deliverables weekly. Supplier will have a defined process to address any findings but will ensure that any high-risk vulnerabilities are addressed within 30 days.
