Contractor Safety Programs Clause Samples
Contractor Safety Programs. CM shall review safety programs of the Contractor for conformity with requirements of the Construction Documents and applicable law; CM shall monitor the Contractors’ compliance with their respective safety programs and advise the District of measures, if any, necessary or appropriate to obtain the Contractors’ compliance. By undertaking the obligations hereunder, CM shall not be deemed to have assumed responsibility for the adequacy or sufficiency of safety programs implemented by Contractor, but the CM is responsible for verifying that the Contractor has established a safety program, that the safety program established by the Contractor is in compliance with the Construction Documents and applicable law, rule or regulation and that the Contractor implements its safety program during construction of the Assigned Project.
Contractor Safety Programs. The Construction Manager shall review the safety programs developed by each Trade Contractor for purposes of assisting in the coordination of safety programs with those of other contractors. The Construction Manager's responsibilities for assisting in the coordination of these multiple safety programs shall not extend to direct control over or charge of the acts or omissions of the Trade Contractors, subcontractors, agents or employees of the Trade Contractors or subcontractors or any other persons performing portions of the Project not directly employed by the Construction Manager. The Construction Manager shall take all necessary precautions for the safety of its employees and comply with all applicable safety laws and building codes to prevent accidents or injuries to its employees. Any incident costs associated with the Construction Manager's Safety Person(s), including responses to emergency situations, shall be included in this Agreement. No additional compensation will be provided for these costs.
Contractor Safety Programs. The Construction Manager shall review the safety programs the Contractor develops under the Contract Documents and shall coordinate all safety programs for the Project.
