Continued PTO Credit. In case of an absence due to an illness or 1 injury, a full-time regular employee shall continue to earn PTO for a maximum 2 period of six (6) months (1040 hours). A part-time regular employee's ability to earn 3 PTO shall be pro-rated in direct proportion to his/her established FTE. In leave 4 without pay situations, accruals do not continue with the exception of workers’ 5 compensation and approved FMLA leaves.

  • Provisional Credit You acknowledge that the Rules make provisional any credit given for an entry until the financial institution crediting the account specified in the entry receives final settlement. If the financial institution does not receive final settlement, it is entitled to a refund from the credited party and the originator of the entry shall not be deemed to have paid the party.

  • Borrowing of Unearned Vacation Credits With the approval of the Employer, an Employee who has been employed for a period of five (5) or more years may be granted five (5) days from the vacation leave of the next subsequent year.

  • Service Credit Time spent on authorized leaves of absence without pay will count towards seniority, including service credit for annual step increases, layoff purposes, and for computing the amount of vacation leave, provided the employee is properly returned to service and is not serving a probationary period. Employees that do not return to service from a personal leave of absence shall not receive service credit for the time spent on such leave.

  • Termination and Post-Termination Continuation of Services If either Party provides Notice of Termination pursuant to Section 6.3 and, by 11:59 p.m. Central Time on the stated date of termination, neither Party has requested negotiation of a new Interconnection agreement, then (a) this Agreement will terminate at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on the termination date identified in the Notice of Termination, and (b) the services and functions being provided by CenturyLink under this Agreement at the time of termination, including Interconnection arrangements and the exchange of Local Traffic, may be terminated by CenturyLink unless the Parties jointly agree to other continuing arrangements.

  • Vacation Credit Any outstanding vacation entitlement for a person going on LTD will be paid in cash upon expiry of sick leave. The cash payment will be calculated on the base earnings at the expiration of sick leave for the prorated days of vacation entitlement, any outstanding lieu days, any outstanding floating statutory holidays, and banked time for 40-hour per week employees. No vacation entitlement, floating holidays, or banked time for 40-hour per week employees accrues while a member is in receipt of LTD benefits.

  • Continuation of Services The Contractor shall work with the current Subcontractor prior to cancellation date to ensure all consumer needs are identified and appropriate placements and transportation needs, as applicable, have been arranged. The Subcontractor shall maintain communication with the Contractor on the process of transferring consumers until all consumers are placed.

  • Military Service Credit Permanent HMC employees who are veterans or their unmarried widows/widowers shall have added to their unbroken service the veteran’s active military service to a maximum of five (5) years in accordance with applicable state and federal law.

  • Vacation Credits All employees shall participate in the County’s Terminal Pay Plan (Plan). However, only the terminal paychecks (including unused vacation) of those employees who have reached the age of fifty-five (55) shall be placed into the Plan. These terminal paychecks shall be placed into the Plan on a pre-tax basis in accordance with the Plan, all applicable laws and all rules and regulations applicable to the Plan.

  • Expiration of Sick Leave Credits Employees who are absent due to sickness beyond their accumulated sick leave credits shall be placed on an unpaid leave of absence until they are in receipt of long-term disability benefits. (Reference Article 37 - Leave – General and Appendix A – Long-Term Disability Insurance Plan.)

  • Restoration of Sick Leave Credit Employees who have been separated from state service and return to a position (except as temporary employees) within two (2) years shall have unused sick leave credits accrued during previous employment restored.
