Common use of Compassionate Care Leave Clause in Contracts

Compassionate Care Leave. (a) An employee will be approved for an unpaid leave of absence for up to 27 weeks to provide care or support to a family member who is gravely ill and who has a significant risk of death within 26 weeks, as prescribed by the Employment Standards Act.
