Common use of CIVIL SERVICE RULES Clause in Contracts

CIVIL SERVICE RULES. The administrative and procedural provisions and controls of Civil Service Law and the Rules and Regulations promulgated thereunder, are to be observed in the administration of this Agreement, except to the extent that this Agreement pertains to subjects not therein contained or where this Agreement is contrary to, or in conflict with such provisions and controls and deviation from such rule or control is statutorily permitted. Nothing herein shall be construed to deny any individual employee his rights under the Civil Service Law or Regulations. This Article does not apply to the unclassified service.

Nothing herein shall be construed to deny any individual employee his rights explicitly understood that certain job titles may not fall under the Civil Service Law or Regulations. This Article does not apply to the unclassified servicecivil service protection.
