City Seniority. 1. City seniority is understood to mean an employee's most recent date of employment or re-employment. Seniority will continue to accrue during all types of leave except for Leave of Absence Without Pay of more than thirtythirty (30) consecutive calendar days which shall cause this date to be adjusted for an equivalent amount of time. Leaves of Absence Without Pay for periods of thirty (30) consecutive calendar days or less shall not cause the City seniority date to be adjusted.
