Department Director. The term DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR refers to the Director of the Department requesting the service, employed by the Lee County Board of County Commissioners to serve and act on the COUNTY'S behalf, as it relates to this Project. The Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners, or designated representative, shall act on behalf of the COUNTY to execute any and all CHANGE ORDERS or SUPPLEMENTAL TASK AUTHORIZATIONS approved by the COUNTY and issued to the CONSULTANT pursuant to this Agreement. The DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR, within the authority conferred by the Board of County Commissioners, acting as the COUNTY'S designated representative, shall issue written notification to the CONSULTANT of any and all changes approved by the COUNTY in the CONSULTANT'S: (1) compensation; (2) time and/or schedule of service delivery; (3) scope of services; or, (4) other changes relative to BASIC SERVICES and ADDITIONAL SERVICES pursuant to this Agreement, including CHANGE ORDERS or SUPPLEMENTAL TASK AUTHORIZATIONS pertaining thereto. The DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR is responsible for acting on the COUNTY'S behalf to administer, coordinate, interpret and otherwise manage the contractual provisions and requirements set forth in this Agreement, including approved CHANGE ORDERS or SUPPLEMENTAL TASK AUTHORIZATIONS.

Department Director. If the grievance is not resolved at Step 1, the appropriate Unit Representative may forward the grievance to the appropriate Department Director within ten (10) working days after receiving the Step 1 answer. Department Director. If the grievance is not resolved at Step 2, the union may, within ten (10) calendar days after the Step 2 meeting, refer the grievance in writing to the Department Director or his designee. In such event, a meeting will be held between the union and the Department Director, or his designee. Such meeting will be held within thirty (30) calendar days from referral to Step 3. Failure to hold a timely meeting will automatically move the grievance to Step 4. If the matter is not resolved at Step 3, the union may, within ten (10) calendar days of the Step 3 meeting, refer the grievance in writing to Step 4. Failure to refer the grievance to Step 4 within the specified period shall constitute waiver of the grievance.
Department Director. In the event of any dispute or grievance involving the true interpretation of this Agreement, the matter shall first be submitted in writing within fifteen (15) calendar days of the occurrence of the event which gives rise to the grievance by the individual affected or through their Shop Xxxxxxx, to the employee's department director, or the director's designee. The employee's department director, or the director's designee, shall attempt to satisfactorily settle the grievance within ten (10) calendar days from the date of receipt of the employee's Step 1 grievance. No grievance shall be settled without the knowledge of the Shop Xxxxxxx.
Department Director. The term Department Director as it appears throughout this labor agreement shall mean that individual Management Official or his designee responsible for the control, direction and mission accomplishment of a particular department. They are used merely for convenience purposes and are not to be considered as any adverse reflection on either sex.
