Common use of City Seniority Clause in Contracts

City Seniority. City seniority shall mean an employee's length of continuous service with the City, based on the employee's most recent date of hire with the City. City seniority shall be the basis for such benefits as accumulation of sick leave, vacation accrual, and/or other cumulative monetary fringe benefits based on length of service.

City Seniority. City City-wide seniority shall mean an employee's is defined as the length of continuous service employment with the City, based on the employee's most recent date City of hire with the CityRockledge. City Such seniority shall be acquired by a full-time employee after completion of a probationary period, at which time seniority shall be retroactive to the basis for such first (1st) day of employment. City-wide seniority shall apply to accrual of all benefits as accumulation of sick leaveand to promotional vacancies, vacation accrual, and/or other cumulative monetary fringe benefits based on length of serviceproviding the employee meets the provision in Article 28.

City Seniority. Classification seniority shall terminate upon leaving that classification. Bargaining unit seniority shall terminate upon leaving the bargaining unit.
