Change of Degree. Members of this association shall be eligible for an additional $1,000 in salary upon attainment of the following degree levels: MA+30, MA+60 and Doctoral degree level. The following rules shall determine change in degree level:

Change of Degree. The Board agrees that any teacher who changes degree status will be paid at the same rate as a presently employed teacher of similar training and experience. To be eligible to receive such a salary adjustment for the next school year, the teacher must notify the Superintendent on or before March 1st of an intent to complete this degree prior to the start of the next contract year. The salary adjustment for any teacher who changes degree status during a contract year will be effective at the start of the next contract year.
