Common use of Accumulation of Vacation Credits Clause in Contracts

Accumulation of Vacation Credits. Employees shall not accumulate vacation leave in excess of two hundred and fifty (250) hours. In addition, in the last year of employment, prior to retirement, the employee will be able to cash in up to fifty (50) hours of vacation. The employee will be responsible to notify the employer in writing of their intent to retire to exercise this provision. This is a one-time option.
