Temporary cessation of work definition

Temporary cessation of work in this section means that although the work of the business or part of the business of the employer has ceased or diminished, the employer-employee relationship is, in the opinion of the Tribunal, still in existence, and it is the intention of the parties to resume normal working within 3 months from the cessation of operations.

Examples of Temporary cessation of work in a sentence

  • Temporary cessation of work based on all the above mentioned reasons shall not exceed six months within one year, with exemption to item 3 from paragraph 1 of this Article in which case the duration of the temporary cessation of practicing the craftsman activity shall be determined based on the labour related regulations.
