Technical Issue definition

Technical Issue means a matter that is procedural in nature or not integral to the determination of whether the insured is entitled to benefits under the policy. Examples of a technical issue are an insurer’s lack of receipt of completed forms that duplicate information that the insurer already has or the license number for a long-term care facility.
Technical Issue means an issue arising regarding technical matters and as used herein, can mean a Standard Issue, a High Priority Issue or a Critical Issue as applicable.

More Definitions of Technical Issue

Technical Issue means any dispute or difference between the parties (including where this Agreement provides for the parties to reach agreement on any matter and the parties have not been able to do so), other than a Commercial Issue;

Related to Technical Issue

Technical data means recorded information, regardless of the form or method of the recording, of a scientific or technical nature (including computer software documentation). The term does not include computer software or data incidental to contract administration, such as financial and/or management information.
Commercial Software means Software developed or regularly used that: (i) has been sold, leased, or licensed to the general public; (ii) has been offered for sale, lease, or license to the general public; (iii) has not been offered, sold, leased, or licensed to the public but will be available for commercial sale, lease, or license in time to satisfy the delivery requirements of this Contract; or (iv) satisfies a criterion expressed in (i), (ii), or (iii) above and would require only minor modifications to meet the requirements of this Contract.
Client Application means an application developed by Licensee that a) utilizes the Runtime Product, b) is installed fully on an end user’s machine, with all report processing local to that machine, and c) adds significant and primary functionality to the Runtime Product.
Manufacturing Know-How means all information, techniques, inventions, discoveries, improvements, practices, methods, knowledge, skill, experience and other technology, whether or not patentable or copyrightable, and any copyrights based thereon, relating to or necessary or useful for the production, purification, packaging, storage and transportation of Collaboration Products, including without limitation specifications, acceptance criteria, manufacturing batch records, standard operating procedures, engineering plans, installation, operation and process qualification protocols for equipment, validation records, master files submitted to the FDA, process validation reports, environmental monitoring processes, test data including pharmacological, toxicological and clinical test data, cost data and employee training materials.
Manufacturing Technology means any and all patents, patent applications, know-how, and all intellectual property rights associated therewith that are owned or controlled by Licensor, and including all tangible embodiments thereof, that are necessary or useful for the manufacture of adeno-associated viruses, adeno-associated virus vectors, research or commercial reagents related thereto, Licensed Products, or other products, including manufacturing processes, technical information relating to the methods of manufacture, protocols, standard operating procedures, batch records, assays, formulations, quality control data, specifications, scale up, any and all improvements, modifications, and changes thereto, and any and all activities associated with such manufacture. Any and all chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC), drug master files (DMFs), or similar materials provided to regulatory authorities and the information contained therein are deemed Manufacturing Technology.
Technical Documentation means designs, reports, photographs, drawings, plans, specifications, computer software, surveys, calculations and other data, information and material collected, computed, drawn or produced, including computer print-outs;
SDK means the Build Tools, Documentation, Flex Framework Binaries, Professional Component Source File, Runtime Components, Runtime Software, Sample Code, SDK Source Files, files, libraries and executables that are described in a “Read Me” file or other similar file as being included as part of the Flex Software Development Kit, including the build files, compilers, and related information, as well as the file format specifications, if any, and any related information accompanying this Flex Software Development Kit, including any updates thereto, that are downloaded to your computer or otherwise used by you.
Development Application means an application made to the Planning Board, Board of Appeals, Department of Permitting Services, or the Planning Director for approval of a regulated activity.
Technical Support means the technical assistance for attempting resolution of a reported Case through error correction, patches, hot fixes, workarounds, replacement deliveries, or any other type of Product corrections or modifications.

Product Technology means the following information owned by or to the extent licensed to Seller, as in existence and in the possession of Seller as of the Closing Date: the manufacturing technology, proprietary or confidential information, processes, techniques, protocols, methods, improvements and know-how that are necessary to manufacture the Products in accordance with the current applicable Product ANDA, as the case may be, including, but not limited to, the manufacturing process approved in the applicable Product ANDAs, specifications and test methods, raw material, packaging, stability and other applicable specifications, manufacturing and packaging instructions, master formula, validation reports to the extent available, stability data, analytical methods, records of complaints, annual product reviews to the extent available, and other master documents necessary for the manufacture, control and release of the Products as conducted by, or on behalf of, Seller or any of its Affiliates before the Effective Date. The Product Technology includes without limitation the rights owned or to the extent controlled by Seller under any patent issued in or subject to a pending application in the Territory as of the Closing Date, and any rights under any patent or patent application outside of the Territory solely to the extent necessary to manufacture the Products outside the Territory for importation to and sale in the Territory.
Commercial User means all retail stores, restaurants, office buildings, laundries, and other private business and service establishments.
CE marking means a marking by which the manufacturer indicates that the product is in conformity with the applicable requirements set out in Union harmonisation legislation providing for its affixing;
Technical Standards means the technical standards set out in paragraph 2.4 of the Order Form;
Nuclear medicine technologist means an individual who holds a current certification with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
New Technology means any invention, discovery, improvement, or innovation, that was not available to the acquiring agency on the effective date of the contract, whether or not patentable, including, but not limited to, new processes, emerging technology, machines, and improvements to, or new applications of, existing processes, machines, manufactures and software. Also included are new computer programs, and improvements to, or new applications of, existing computer programs, whether or not copyrightable and any new process, machine, including software, and improvements to, or new applications of, existing processes, machines, manufactures and software.
Enslavement means the exercise of any or all of the powers attaching to the right of ownership over a person and includes the exercise of such power in the course of trafficking in persons, in particular women and children;
