NOx Allowances definition

NOx Allowances means nitrogen oxide allowances that have been allocated to the Seller for the Generating Plants by (i) the Maryland Department of the Environment under the State of Maryland's NOx Budget Program authorizing the emission of one ton of nitrogen oxide during the specified control period, or (ii) the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality under any budget program which may be established for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
NOx Allowances means a right issued by the United States of America or the state of Michigan allowing the holder to emit one ton of nitrogen oxides (“NOx”) during a particular period as more particularly described in Michigan’s NOx State Implementation Plan (SIP) Call as administered by the EPA and/or under the Clean Air Interstate Rule (CAIR) program due to take effect in 2009.
NOx Allowances means nitrogen oxide allowances that have been allocated to Seller for the Danskammer Station by NYSDEC under the State of New York's NOx Budget Program authorizing the emission of one ton of nitrogen oxide during the specified control period.

Examples of NOx Allowances in a sentence

  • Except as provided in this Consent Decree, DMG shall not sell or trade any NOx Allowances allocated to the DMG System that would otherwise be available for sale or trade as a result of the actions taken by DMG to comply with the requirements of this Consent Decree.

  • NOx Allowance means an authorization to emit a specified amount of NOx that is allocated or issued under an emissions trading or marketable permit program of any kind that has been established under the Clean Air Act or a state implementation plan.

  • Transportation Expense means the cost of Medically Necessary conveyance, personnel, and services or supplies.
