If the local attending Legally Qualified Physician and the authorized travel assistance company determine that it is Medically Necessary for an Insured to return to his or her place of permanent residence for continued treatment of an unforeseen Sickness or Injury which is acute or life-threatening, the Transportation Expense incurred will be paid for transportation to the Hospital or medical facility closest to an Insured’s permanent place of residence capable of providing that treatment.

Medical Evacuation means Physician-ordered Transportation Expense which is arranged and approved by Our Plan Assistance Provider.
Family Transportation Expense (Plan B Option 4) If, by reason of Injury, you sustain a Loss payable under Specific Loss Accident Indemnity of this policy and is either confined as an inpatient in a Hospital, or suffers a Loss of Life from any cause, the Insurer will pay the reasonable expenses actually incurred by any Immediate Family Members, or a family representative, for Accommodation and transportation by the most direct route to and from the confined Insured Person.
