New employee processing definition

New employee processing means the process by which newly hired bargaining unit employees, whether in person, online, or through other means, are advised of their employment status, rights, benefits, duties, responsibilities, and other employment matters. In any year in which the district holds a New Teacher or New Employee Institute of at least one day prior to the first day of school, “new employee processing” shall include the New Teacher or New Employee Institute.
