Negative publicity means information associated with or resulting from a wrongful act which is publicized through newspapers, radio, television, blogs, websites or comparable print, broadcast, or electronic media that has caused or is likely to cause a decline or deterioration in the company’s business reputation or which, in the opinion of a public relations consultant, is likely to be so publicized to the detriment of the company’s business reputation.
