McLeodUSA Network definition

McLeodUSA Network means the communications network consisting of fiber, fiber cable, telephone cable, optronics, attachments, hubs, Customer Connections (the connection from a customer site that purchases communications service from McLeodUSA) and other communications materials owned, leased and constructed by McLeodUSA, including fiber-optic fibers, fiber-optic cable, and hardware owned by McLeodUSA.
McLeodUSA Network means the telecommunications system owned or operated by McLeodUSA.

  • If the relocation, rearrangement or other modification of the McLeodUSA Network or Alliant Energy Network is necessitated by requirements of public authorities, requirements of private property owners or any accident or other unforeseen circumstances not caused by the tortious conduct of McLeodUSA or Alliant Energy, then each party shall be responsible for their respective costs of relocating, rearranging or otherwise modifying their networks.

  • Within such sixty (60) day period, Alliant Energy may elect to purchase such McLeodUSA Network assets.

  • Except as provided otherwise in this agreement, McLeodUSA will be responsible for the actual costs to relocate, rearrange or otherwise modify any part of the McLeodUSA Network or Alliant Energy Network, if these costs have resulted from a change sought by McLeodUSA.

  • IRU Grantee shall not use the IRU Fibers in a manner that physically or electronically interferes in any way with, or otherwise adversely affects the use of the McLeodUSA Network, Fibers, Cable, (or any equipment or element thereof), or of the fiber, cable or equipment of any person along the route Segments.

  • Alliant Energy shall promptly notify McLeodUSA of (i) any damages caused by Alliant Energy to the McLeodUSA Network or (ii) any claims against McLeodUSA for property damage, bodily injury or death arising directly or indirectly out of Alliant Energy’s use of the McLeodUSA Network.

  • McLeodUSA shall provide reasonable advance notice for any PSWP affecting the McLeodUSA Network.

  • Rather, the acquisition of MMHP and the subsequent deed restriction on the pads will preserve the affordable nature of those pads for at least fifty years.

  • Any accrued Transport Capacity shall have no value other than a unit of measure used in exchange for Alliant Energy’s use on the McLeodUSA Network, and upon termination of this Agreement all accrued Transport Capacity shall have no cash equivalent value.

  • Any McLeodUSA representative so present shall have the authority to modify or temporarily halt the work to the limited extent reasonably necessary to protect the integrity of the McLeodUSA Network.

  • In the event that Alliant Energy requests that McLeodUSA undertake a project for which construction of additional facilities on the McLeodUSA Network is required, the costs of such construction shall be charged to Alliant Energy pursuant to the Alliant Energy Pricing Option attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit .

  • BT Network means BT’s public electronic communications network;

  • Non-Network means any hospital, day care centre or other provider that is not part of the network.

  • Area network means a type of electric distribution system served by multiple transformers interconnected in an electrical network circuit, which is generally used in large metropolitan areas that are densely populated, in order to provide highly reliable service. Area network has the same meaning as the term "distribution secondary grid network" found in institute of electrical and electronics engineers (IEEE) standard 1547 sub clause 4.1.4.

  • Core Network means the transport infrastructure identified in accordance with Chapter III of Regulation (EU) No 1315/2013;

  • Mobile Network means a 3G or 4G network or any other mobile communications network which we choose to provide Mobile services.

  • Digital network means any online-enabled application, software, website or system offered or utilized by a transportation network company that enables the prearrangement of rides with transportation network company drivers.

  • Network Element is As Defined in the Act.

  • ACH Network means the funds transfer system, governed by the NACHA Rules, that provides funds transfer services to participating financial institutions.

  • Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN means a switched network service that provides end-to-end digital connectivity for the simultaneous transmission of voice and data. Basic Rate Interface-ISDN (BRI-ISDN) provides for a digital transmission of two (2) 64 Kbps bearer channels and one (1) 16 Kbps data channel (2B+D).

  • Network means the participating providers described in the Provider Directory.

  • Open Wireless Network means any network or segment of a network that is not designated by the State of New Hampshire’s Department of Information Technology or delegate as a protected network (designed, tested, and approved, by means of the State, to transmit) will be considered an open network and not adequately secure for the transmission of unencrypted PI, PFI, PHI or confidential DHHS data.

  • Online Services means Microsoft-hosted services to which Customer subscribes under this Agreement. It does not include software and services provided under separate license terms.

  • Synchronous Optical Network (SONET means the optical interface standard that allows inter-networking of transmission products from multiple vendors. The base rate is 51.84 Mbps (“OC 1/STS 1”) and higher rates are direct multiples of the base rate, up to 13.22 Gbps.

  • Network User means each natural or legal person having concluded a Standard Transmission Agreement with the TSO for Transmission Services in the Transmission Grid.

  • Network Resource shall have the meaning as provided in the NYISO OATT, for such resources located in New York, and the meaning as provided in the PJM OATT, for such resources located in PJM.

  • Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) means a switched network service that provides end-to-end digital connectivity for the simultaneous transmission of voice and data.   • Network Services means the equipment, software, and services necessary to transmit voice, data, or video.

  • Customer Systems means the Customer's information technology infrastructure, including computers, software, hardware, databases, electronic systems (including database management systems) and networks, whether operated directly by Customer or through the use of third-party services.

  • Network Service User means an entity using Network Transmission Service.

  • DSL refers to a set of service-enhancing copper technologies that are designed to provide digital communications services over copper Loops either in addition to or instead of normal analog voice service, sometimes referred to herein as xDSL, including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Digital Cross Connect System or "DCS" is a function which provides automated Cross Connection of Digital Signal Level 0 (DS0) or higher transmission bit rate digital channels within physical interface facilities. Types of DCS include but are not limited to DCS 1/0s, DCS 3/1s, and DCS 3/3s, where the nomenclature 1/0 denotes interfaces typically at the DS1 rate or greater with Cross Connection typically at the DS0 rate. This same nomenclature, at the appropriate rate substitution, extends to the other types of DCS specifically cited as 3/1 and 3/3. Types of DCS that cross connect Synchronous Transport Signal level 1 (STS-1 s) or other Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) signals (e.g., STS-3) are also DCS, although not denoted by this same type of nomenclature. DCS may provide the functionality of more than one of the aforementioned DCS types (e.g., DCS 3/3/1 which combines functionality of DCS 3/3 and DCS 3/1). For such DCS, the requirements will be, at least, the aggregation of requirements on the "component" DCS. In locations where automated Cross Connection capability does not exist, DCS will be defined as the combination of the functionality provided by a Digital Signal Cross Connect (DSX) or Light Guide Cross Connect (LGX) patch panels and D4 channel banks or other DS0 and above multiplexing equipment used to provide the function of a manual Cross Connection. Interconnection is between a DSX or LGX to a Switch, another Cross Connection, or other service platform device.

  • telecommunications network means any wire, radio, optical, or other electromagnetic system used to route, switch, or transmit telecommunications;

  • Provider network means an affiliated group of varied health care providers that is established to provide a continuum of health care services to individuals;

  • Signaling System 7 (SS7) means a signaling protocol used by the CCS Network.
