MacroGenics is defined in the introduction to this Agreement.

Related to MacroGenics

  • ISIS means the department’s individualized services information system.

  • Merck has the meaning set forth in the preamble.

  • BMS means the Company, all related companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, parents, successors, assigns and all organizations acquired by the foregoing.

  • Novartis shall have the meaning set forth in the Preamble.

  • GSK has the meaning set forth in the preamble.

  • Pfizer means Pfizer Inc.

  • Lilly has the meaning set forth in the Preamble.

  • PTI means Preliminary Toxicity Investigation. Up to a 30-day period where the permittee investigates the cause(s) of a whole effluent toxicity exceedance and if the toxicity is known, includes a proposal for its elimination.

  • Shire means Shire of Augusta Margaret River

  • Licensee has the meaning set forth in the preamble.

  • PTC means the tax credit for electricity produced from certain renewable generation resources described in Section 45 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as it may be amended or supplemented from time to time.

  • Elan means Elan Corp and its Affiliates.

  • Licensor means the copyright owner or entity authorized by the copyright owner that is granting the License.

  • the Licensee means the person or persons to whom this licence is granted, his personal representatives and any person or persons to whom the rights conferred by this licence may lawfully have been assigned;

  • HPA means the Current HPA, as further amended by this Amendment.

  • Sublicensee means a third party to whom LICENSEE grants a sublicense of certain rights granted to LICENSEE under this Agreement.

  • Siemens means Siemens AG (Germany) and its Affiliates.

  • DSM means the most current edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders published by the American Psychiatric Association.

  • Licensee Technology means the Licensee Know-How and Licensee Patents.

  • UBC means the University of British Columbia.

  • Collaborator An individual who is not under the direct supervision of the PI (e.g., not a member of the PI’s laboratory) who assists with the PI’s research project involving controlled-access data subject to the NIH GDS Policy. Internal collaborators are employees of the Requester and work at the same location/campus as the PI. External collaborators are not employees of the Requester and/or do not work at the same location as the PI, and consequently must be independently approved to access controlled-access data subject to the NIH GDS Policy.

  • Licensor Technology means the Licensor Patents and the Licensor Know-How.

  • ONYX means Onyx Acceptance Corporation, and its successors.

  • Spectrum means frequencies of electromagnetic spectrum used to provide fixed or mobile communications services as licensed or authorized by the FCC.

  • Third Party Licensor means the relevant licensor of any Third Party Data or any Third Party Trade Xxxx;

  • UPI means the unified payments interface which is an instant payment mechanism, developed by NPCI;
