Juggernaut was the Anglicization of the god Jagannath, seated at a temple in Puri, Orissa, on the ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. The image of Juggernaut in America began with a letter from ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ written at Tanjore and originally published in the British Christian Observer but then reprinted throughout New England evangelical publications.12 In the letter, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ offered his observations from ten days spent at the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇. More importantly, he described “human victims” who showed their devotion to the god “by falling under the wheels of the moving tower in which the Idol is placed.”13 In his description of Juggernaut, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ provided a specific example of what he and other missionaries described as the “sanguinary superstitions” of Hindu religions. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ also described Juggernaut in biblical terms for his evangelical audience. Examples of Juggernaut in a sentence

  • Such Services shall be performed with the authorization of, and under the direction of, an authorized representative of Juggernaut.

  • The USI Senior Project Manager will be in contact with Juggernaut daily, discussing the project, ensuring that all deliverables and reviews are met, and documenting all progress.

  • Notices intended for Juggernaut shall be sent to its address appearing on page 1 hereof to the attention of ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, telephone 202/▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇, facsimile 202/333-8260.

  • Juggernaut shall not be responsible for fees, costs, or expenses (including, but not limited to, travel and lodging) of any services performed by USI more than 30 days after USI receives the notice of termination, other than unavoidable and reasonable expenses experienced by USI despite good faith efforts by USI to make commercially reasonable efforts to minimize cost and to preserve the deliverables completed to date.
