Investment Assets definition

Investment Assets means all debentures, notes and other evidences of Indebtedness, stocks, securities (including rights to purchase and securities convertible into or exchangeable for other securities), interests in joint ventures and general and limited partnerships, mortgage loans and other investment or portfolio assets.

Investment Assets means any interest in any bonds, notes, debentures, mortgage loans, real estate, instruments of indebtedness, stocks, partnership or joint venture interests and all other equity interests, certificates issued by or interests in trusts, derivatives or other assets acquired for investment or hedging purposes.

Examples of Investment Assets in a sentence

The Advisor will give the Sub-Advisor reasonable advance notice of any cash requirements from the Investment Assets, and the Sub-Advisor will maintain in cash or cash equivalents sufficient assets to meet such cash requirements.
The Sub-Advisor is hereby empowered to issue orders directly to a broker or dealer for the purchase, sale or exchange of securities with respect to the Investment Assets.
The Sub-Advisor must keep accurate and detailed records and accounts of the Investment Assets and of all receipts, disbursements and other transactions affecting the Investment Assets.
The Advisor will give the Sub-Advisor prior notice if any other entity is appointed to serve as Custodian for the Investment Assets.
The Investment Assets have been deposited with the Custodian and are maintained by the Custodian in safekeeping on its premises, in a recognized clearing corporation, or in the Federal Reserve book-entry system, in the name of the Fund, the Custodian or the clearing corporation, or in the nominee name of any of these.

Investment Assets shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.17(a).

Investment Assets means any investment assets (whether or not required by GAAP or SAP to be reflected on a balance sheet) beneficially owned (within the meaning of Rule 13d-3 under the Exchange Act) by any SALIC Group Company, including bonds, notes, debentures, mortgage loans, real estate and all other instruments of indebtedness, stocks, partnership or joint venture interests and all other equity interests, certificates issued by or interests in trusts, derivatives and all other assets acquired for investment purposes.

Investment Assets means any interest in any cash, cash equivalents, money market fund instruments, bonds, notes, debentures, loans, advances or other extensions of credit, real estate, instruments of indebtedness, stocks, partnership or joint venture interests, and all other equity interests, certificates issued by or interests in trusts, derivatives or other hedging or similar agreements or arrangements (including interest rate, currency, commodity or other swaps, collars and caps), or other securities, derivatives or assets acquired or held for investment purposes.

Investment Assets means the securities obtained by a financial institution, an insurance company, a pension institution for the purpose of investment (as provided in § 11, Business Tax Act).

Investment Assets means bonds, notes, debentures, mortgage loans, collateral loans and all other instruments of indebtedness, stocks, partnership or joint venture interests and all other equity interests (including, but not limited to, equity interests in Subsidiaries or other Affiliates), real estate and leasehold and other interests therein, certificates issued by or interests in trusts, cash on hand and on deposit, personal property and interests therein and all other assets acquired for investment purposes.
