International Student definition

International Student means a student holding a student visa for the purpose of obtaining an education in Australia and includes a student on a study abroad or international exchange program;
International Student means a student who requires a student visa to study in the United Kingdom.
International Student has the same meaning as “overseas student” in section 1.1.3 of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 (Vic).

More Definitions of International Student

International Student means a student who matches the requirements defined in Articles 2 and 3 of Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan.
International Student means any student who is not a British or Irish citizen; or who is not resident in the UK or does not hold a permanent right of residence in the UK in accordance with the EEA Regulations; or who does not have leave to remain or indefinite leave to remain with permissions that allow study; or is not a person who is otherwise settled within the meaning of section 33(2A) of the Immigration Act 1971 or who does not have any other status or permission to study in the UK.
International Student means a third-country national who has been accepted by a higher education institution and is admitted to the territory of a Member State to pursue as a main activity a full-time course of study leading to a higher education qualification recognised by that Member State, including diplomas, certificates or doctoral degrees in a higher education institution, which may cover a preparatory course prior to such education, in accordance with national law, or compulsory training.
International Student. – generally means any student who is not a UK national (regardless of tuition fee status). Some International Students qualify for tuition fee rates as applicable to UK nationals, and some are classified as International for tuition fee purposes. ‘International Student’ in these Terms and your Student Contract usually relates to your visa status in the UK. If you don’t need a visa to live and study in the UK, but you have to pay fees at the international rate, you are not normally subject to the extra terms relating to International Students.
International Student means a person who is a non-UK or non-Irish National, subject to any ongoing changes implemented as a result of Brexit (please see clause 7 for more information), who has limited leave to remain in the United Kingdom.
