Format Fee definition

Format Fee the fee payable to the Writer as set out in Clause 6 and payable to the Writer for the Script in the manner set out in Clause 7 in respect of use of a script not written by the Writer for which the Writer has provided the Format.

Examples of Format Fee in a sentence

  • The Format Fee will be an amount equal to 10% of the fee the Writer would have received upon first Transmission or repeat Transmission had the Writer written the Script or if greater, of the amount received by the highest paid writer.

  • On expiry of the initial six month SCTW, further SCTWs may be purchased subject to the payment on Transmission of 10% of the Format Fee.

  • BBC Two 1.1 The Format Fee, which is payable on FDPP, will acquire one Transmission on BBC One or BBC Two.

  • On FDPP an additional 10% of the Format Fee is payable which will acquire unlimited Transmissions on BBC Three or BBC Four during a further six month SCTW.

  • The 30% of Format Fee retained by Pearson shall be in consideration of Pearson selling the Television Rights and supervising the quality of the production of Programmes or Series by the Local TV Company.

  • Should the BBC wish to transmit the Programme on BBC Three or BBC Four, the BBC shall pay 10% of the Format Fee to acquire unlimited Transmissions during a six month SCTW which shall begin on first Transmission of the Programme on BBC Three or BBC Four.

  • Four The Format Fee will acquire unlimited Transmissions during a three month SCTW.

  • In consideration of the rights herein granted the BBC will in accordance with the provisions of Schedule Two to this Agreement pay to the Owner the Format Fee and other fees in respect of the exercise of the Primary and Secondary Rights and the fees in respect of extract use in Schedule Four.

  • On FDPP an additional 10% of the Format Fee is payable which will acquire unlimited Transmissions on CBBC or CBeebies during a further twelve month SCTW.

Related to Format Fee

  • Permit Fee means a fee in an amount established by the SFMTA Board, required to be paid by a permit applicant for permit issuance or renewal, including any late payment penalties or interest for failure to pay in accordance with the requirements of this Article and any other regulations adopted by the SFMTA Board.
