Food Safety Laws definition

Food Safety Laws means all laws, constitutions, treaties, statutes, codes, orders, decrees, rules, regulations, by-laws and ordinances relating in whole or in part to food safety and the manufacture, sale, packaging, labelling, import, export and distribution of food products.
Food Safety Laws means any Governmental Orders, Laws, Permits or legally binding requirements of any Governmental Authorities, in each case, relating to or imposing Liability or standards of conduct with respect to food safety, sanitation or quality, industrial hygiene (relating to food processing facilities), human health (including public health) relating to food consumption, food contamination, or the development, testing, manufacture, production, handling, holding, packaging, labeling, transportation, distribution, importing, exporting, storage, sale, licensing, marketing or advertising of food and related products, including but not limited to the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, the Food Safety Modernization Act, Federal Meat Inspection Act, Poultry Products Inspection Act, Egg Products Inspection Act, Organic Foods Production Act, Agricultural Marketing Act, Federal Trade Commission Act, state unfair competition and deceptive trade practices statutes, other analogous Laws, as applicable, and the implementing regulations of the United States Food and Drug Administration, United States Department of Agriculture, United States Federal Trade Commission, and any other foreign, federal, state or local equivalent, as applicable.
Food Safety Laws means any Law governing the use, purchasing, growing, manufacture, packing, holding, distributing, transporting, importing, exporting, sale, labeling, advertising or marketing of Food Products, including ingredients or components thereof, including any applicable Laws that relate to health and food safety in the PRC or Hong Kong, and any regulations promulgated thereof.

  • Except as set forth on Schedule 3.14(a), the Products are, and since the Lookback Date have been, in each case, in all material respects, (i) properly manufactured, produced, processed, handled, stored and distributed and are properly packaged and labeled and fit for human consumption, (ii) of good and merchantable quality and condition, (iii) shipped in interstate commerce in accordance with the Food Safety Laws, and (iv) in conformity with all express and implied warranties.

Food Safety Laws means Laws relating to selling food on the internet, including without limitation, Food Safety Laws of the PRC (中华人民共和国食品安全法), Administrative Measures for Food Distribution Licensing (食品经营许可管理办法) and Measures for the Investigation and Handling of Illegalities of Online Food Safety (网络食品安全违法行为查处办法).
Food Safety Laws means, collectively, to the extent applicable to the Company and its Subsidiaries, (i) the United States Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as amended; (ii) the Federal Meat Inspection Act, the Poultry Products Inspection Act, the Egg Products Inspection Act, the Organic Foods Production Act of 1990, the Food Safety Modernization Act, the Xxxxxx Act, the Food Security Act, PASA and PACA, in each case, as amended; (iii) the Federal Alcohol Administration Act, as amended; (iv) the Federal Trade Commission Act, as amended; and (v) any other applicable federal, state and municipal, domestic and foreign law governing the import, export, procurement, holding, distribution, sale, manufacturing, processing, packing, packaging, safety, purity, taxation, labeling, and/or advertising of food (including state and local food codes and alcohol-related laws) as amended and in effect from time to time or that are similar or analogous to any of the foregoing; and, in respect to all such laws, all rules, regulations, standards, guidelines, policies and orders administered by the FDA, USDA, TTB, FTC, and any other Governmental Authority.
Food Safety Laws means, collectively, to the extent applicable to Holdings and its Subsidiaries, (i) the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as amended; the Federal Meat Inspection Act, the Poultry Products Inspection Act, the Egg Products Inspection Act, the Organic Foods Production Act of 1990, the Food Safety Modernization Act, the Lanham Act, the Food Security Act, PASA and PACA, in each case, as amended; the Federal Trade Commission Act, as amended; and (ii) any other applicable federal, state and municipal, domestic and foreign law governing the import, export, procurement, holding, distribution, sale, manufacturing, processing, packing, packaging, safety, purity, taxation, labeling, and/or advertising of food (including state and local food codes) as amended and in effect from time to time or that are similar or analogous to any of the foregoing; and, in respect to all such laws, all rules, regulations, standards, guidelines, policies and orders administered by the FDA, USDA, FTC, and any other Governmental Authority.
Food Safety Laws means (i) all Laws and agreements with Governmental Entities relating to or imposing liability or standards of conduct with respect to food safety or quality, industrial hygiene, or the manufacture, production, handling, packaging, label, labeling, transportation, distribution, importing, exporting, storage, sale or marketing of food and related products, including all Laws and regulations administered by the FDA, USDA, the Federal Trade Commission, Health Canada, CFIA and any state, provincial, municipal or local agricultural, public health or consumer protection authorities, including but not limited to the U.S. Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act ("FFDCA"), as amended and its associated regulations, the Food Safety Modernization Act (Pub. L. 111-353), the Public Health Security Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002 (Pub. L. 107-188, as amended), the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act and its associated regulations (Pub. L. 71-325, as amended), the Food and Drugs Act and its associated regulations, the Consumer Packaging and Labelling Act and its associated regulations, the Safe Food for Canadians Act and its associated regulations (and, as applicable, the Canada Agricultural Products Act and its associated regulations prior to their repeal), and all rules, notices, practices, policies, guidance and guidelines issued by the FDA, USDA, CFIA and any state, provincial, municipal or local agricultural, public health or consumer protection authorities, as it relates to organic standards, product certifications and all facility hazard analysis plans and programs, and (ii) all Authorizations issued pursuant to such Laws and agreements.
Food Safety Laws means, collectively, to the extent applicable to the Loan Parties and their Subsidiaries, (i) the United States Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as amended; (ii) the Federal Alcohol Administration Act, as amended; (iii) the Federal Trade Commission Act, as amended; and (iv) any other applicable federal, state and municipal, domestic and foreign law governing the import, export, procurement, holding, distribution, sale, manufacturing, processing, packing, packaging, safety, purity, taxation, labeling, and/or advertising of food (including wine, spirits and other alcohol-related laws) as amended and in effect from time to time; and, in respect to all such laws, all rules, regulations, standards, guidelines, policies and orders administered by the FDA, USDA, TTB, FTC and any other Governmental Authority, in each case, having the force of law.
Food Safety Laws means all applicable laws and regulatory codes of practice in force at the date of this agreement which relate to food safety, content and/or hygiene (including those concerning food production, processing, storage, handling, sale and service);
