Eurodollar Rule definition

Eurodollar Rule means Regulation D of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and any law, rule, regulation, guideline, directive, requirement or request regarding (A) taxes, duties or other charges, exemptions with respect to LIBO Rate Advances or the Lender’s obligation to make LIBO Rate Advances, and (B) reserves imposed by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (but excluding any reserve included in the determination of the LIBO Rate), special deposits or similar requirements against assets of, deposits with or for the account of, or credit extended by, any Related Lender, and any other condition affecting the Lender’s making, maintaining or funding of LIBO Rate Advances or its obligation to make LIBO Rate Advances, or the interpretation or administration thereof by any governmental or regulatory authority, central bank or comparable agency, whether or not having the force of law, that applies to any Related Lender.
Eurodollar Rule means Regulation D of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, any applicable law, rule or regulation, with respect to (A) taxes, duties or other charges, exemptions with respect to Eurodollar Rate Advances or the Lender's obligation to make Eurodollar advances, and (B) reserves imposed by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (but excluding any reserve included in the determination of interest rates pursuant to Section 2.9), special deposits or similar requirements against assets of, deposits with or for the account of, or credit extended by, any Related Lender, and any other condition affecting the Lender's making, maintaining or funding of Eurodollar Rate Advances or its obligation to make Eurodollar Rate Advances.
Eurodollar Rule has the meaning specified in Section 2.4(a)(ii).

Related to Eurodollar Rule

  • Eurodollar Rate Borrowing means a Borrowing comprised of Eurodollar Rate Loans.

  • Eurodollar Period means, as to each Eurodollar Rate Loan, the period commencing on the date specified by Borrower pursuant to Section 2.1(c) and ending 1, 2, 3 or, if available, 6 months (or, with the written consent of all of the Lenders, any other period) thereafter, as specified by Borrower in the applicable Request for Loan; provided that:

  • Eurodollar Revolving Loan means any Revolving Loan bearing interest at a rate determined by reference to the Adjusted LIBOR Rate in accordance with the provisions of Article II.

  • Eurodollar when used in reference to any Loan or Borrowing, refers to whether such Loan, or the Loans comprising such Borrowing, are bearing interest at a rate determined by reference to the Adjusted LIBO Rate.

  • Eurodollar Revolving Borrowing means a Borrowing comprised of Eurodollar Revolving Loans.

  • Eurocurrency Interest Period means the Interest Period applicable to a Eurocurrency-based Advance.

  • Eurodollar Rate Loans means any Loans or portion thereof on which interest is payable based on the Adjusted Eurodollar Rate in accordance with the terms hereof.

  • Eurodollar Rate Committed Loan means a Committed Loan that bears interest at a rate based on the Eurodollar Rate.

  • Eurocurrency Term Loan means any Term Loan bearing interest at a rate determined by reference to the Adjusted LIBO Rate in accordance with the provisions of Article II.

  • LIBOR Borrowing means a Borrowing comprised of LIBOR Loans.

  • Eurocurrency Tranche the collective reference to Eurocurrency Loans under a particular Facility the then current Interest Periods with respect to all of which begin on the same date and end on the same later date (whether or not such Loans shall originally have been made on the same day).

  • Eurodollar Market means a regular established market located outside the United States of America by and among banks for the solicitation, offer and acceptance of Dollar deposits in such banks.

  • Eurodollar Reserve Requirement means, at any time, the maximum rate at which reserves (including, without limitation, any marginal, special, supplemental, or emergency reserves) are required to be maintained under regulations issued from time to time by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (or any successor) by member banks of the Federal Reserve System against "Eurocurrency liabilities" (as such term is used in Regulation D). Without limiting the effect of the foregoing, the Eurodollar Reserve Requirement shall reflect any other reserves required to be maintained by such member banks with respect to (i) any category of liabilities which includes deposits by reference to which the Adjusted Eurodollar Rate is to be determined, or (ii) any category of extensions of credit or other assets which include Eurodollar Loans. The Adjusted Eurodollar Rate shall be adjusted automatically on and as of the effective date of any change in the Eurodollar Reserve Requirement.

  • Eurodollar Rate Advance means an Advance that bears interest as provided in Section 2.07(a)(ii).

  • Eurodollar Interest Period means, for any Eurodollar-based Advance, an Interest Period of one, two or three months (or any shorter or longer periods agreed to in advance by the Borrower, Agent and the Lenders) as selected by Borrower, for such Eurodollar-based Advance pursuant to Section 2.3 or 4.4 hereof, as the case may be.

  • Eurocurrency Base Rate means, with respect to a Eurocurrency Rate Advance for the relevant Interest Period:

  • Eurodollar Borrowing means a Borrowing comprised of Eurodollar Loans.

  • Eurocurrency when used in reference to any Loan or Borrowing, refers to whether such Loan, or the Loans comprising such Borrowing, are bearing interest at a rate determined by reference to the Adjusted LIBO Rate.

  • Interest Period means the period beginning on (and including) the Interest Commencement Date and ending on (but excluding) the first Interest Payment Date and each successive period beginning on (and including) an Interest Payment Date and ending on (but excluding) the next succeeding Interest Payment Date.

  • Eurodollar Rate with respect to each day during each Interest Period pertaining to a Eurodollar Loan, a rate per annum determined for such day in accordance with the following formula (rounded upward to the nearest 1/100th of 1%): Eurodollar Base Rate

  • Eurodollar Loans Loans the rate of interest applicable to which is based upon the Eurodollar Rate.

  • Eurodollar Business Day means any Business Day on which dealings are also carried on in the London interbank market and banks are open for business in London.

  • Eurodollar Competitive Loan means any Competitive Loan bearing interest at a rate determined by reference to the LIBO Rate in accordance with the provisions of Article II.

  • Eurodollar Term Loan means any Term Loan bearing interest at a rate determined by reference to the Adjusted LIBO Rate in accordance with the provisions of Article II.

  • Eurocurrency Rate Advance means a Revolving Credit Advance denominated in Dollars or a Committed Currency that bears interest as provided in Section 2.07(a)(ii).

  • Eurocurrency Advance means an Advance which, except as otherwise provided in Section 2.11, bears interest at the applicable Eurocurrency Rate.
