Cyber Event definition

Cyber Event meansany actual or suspected unauthorised system access, electronic attack or privacy breach, including denial of service attack, cyber terrorism, hacking attack, Trojan horse, phishing attack, man-in-the-middle attack, application-layer attack, compromised key attack, malware infection (including spyware or Ransomware) or computer virus.
Cyber Event means any actual unauthorized, accidental, or unlawful access, use, exfiltration, theft, disablement, destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, transmission of any IT Assets owned or used by or on behalf of either party or any member of its Group, or any information or data (including any personally identifiable information) stored therein or transmitted thereby.

Examples of Cyber Event in a sentence

  • Breach of laws and regulations pertaining to privacy and resulting from items (a) to (e) above.For the purposes of items (a) and (c) of Cyber Event definition, data includes but is not limited to personal information, personal data and/or confidential information (other than information that is lawfully available in the public domain or to the general public unless such information which had been publically available became uniquely identifiable through collection and/or processing) in any form.

  • Any Damage to Data of a Third Party by the Insured is not deemed to be a Cyber Event if there is not any Network Security Failure involved.

Cyber Event means the loss or unauthorised destruction, alteration, disclosure of, access to, or control of a Digital Environment; (d) "Depot" means any container depot owned, operated or managed by the Company; (e) "Digital Environment" means information technology systems, operational technology systems, networks, internet-enabled applications or devices and the data contained within such systems; (f) "Equipment" means such other property (other than Containers or Vehicles) owned, supplied, operated or otherwise controlled by the Customer (including but not limited to gensets, power packs, tanks, spare parts or related equipment); (g) "Facilities" means all loading/unloading areas, Depot and storage areas, roads, paths, maintenance facilities, buildings, lifting equipment and any other facilities owned, operated or managed by the Company at the Premises; (h) "Premises" means any Depot or other premises from where the Company provides the Services; (i) "Service Schedule" means the service schedule annexed to these Conditions as Appendix 1; (j) "Services" means the services as further described in the Service Schedule, and such other services to be provided by the Company to the Customer as mutually agreed in writing; (k) "Vehicles" means any road haulage or rail haulage vehicles, including but not limited to trucks, trailers, trains and wagons.
