Cyber Event definition

Cyber Event means any actual unauthorized, accidental or unlawful access, use, exfiltration, theft, disablement, destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, transmission of any IT Assets owned or used by or on behalf of either party or any member of its Group, or any information or data (including any personally identifiable information) stored therein or transmitted thereby.

Examples of Cyber Event in a sentence

  • Breach of laws and regulations pertaining to privacy and resulting from items (a) to (e) above.For the purposes of items (a) and (c) of Cyber Event definition, data includes but is not limited to personal information, personal data and/or confidential information (other than information that is lawfully available in the public domain or to the general public unless such information which had been publically available became uniquely identifiable through collection and/or processing) in any form.

  • It should be noted that the obligations, restrictions, and possible penalties set out in §3 of the Arms Export Control Act also apply to the re-transfer by foreign recipients of U.S. supplied defense articles, defense services, and related technical data to another nation.

  • However, where there is more than one Claim and/or Cyber Event arising out of or attributable to the same originating cause or source or the same act, error or omission, event or transaction or in any way related to such cause or source, act, error or omission, event or transaction, the Excess shall only be applied once.

  • However, where there is more than one Claim and/or Cyber Event arising out of or attributable to the same originating cause or source or the same act, error or omission, event or transaction or in any way related to such cause or source, act, error or omission, event or transaction, the Excess and/or Waiting Period shall only be applied once.

  • A separate Excess and/or Waiting Period shall apply to each and every Claim and to each and every Cyber Event.

Cyber Event means one of the following:

Cyber Event means cyber activity including but not limited to:

Cyber Event means any observable occurrence in an IT system. Cyber events sometimes provide indication that a cyber incident is occurring;
Cyber Event means any: (i) unauthorised intrusion of, malware attack on, or other security breach or failure in relation to, any of the IT Assets used in the Business; or (ii) unauthorized access, disclosure, destruction, alteration, loss or theft of data used in the Business.
