Congregate Living Facilities definition

Congregate Living Facilities means a form of senior housing which permits independent living by seniors but combines privacy and companionship with private bedroom or living units and shared common areas for living space, social activities, dining, and amenities. Such facilities shall be designed to accommodate the special needs of elderly and/or infirm residents including wheelchair accessibility, emergency intercoms or call buttons, provision of meals, housekeeping, social services, and transportation.
