CM@Risk definition

CM@Risk means the CM@Risk and all persons and entities identified as members of the CM@Risk Team in the CM@Risk’s response to the Owner’s RFQ which led to the Agreement with all amendments, and any substitutes permitted under the terms of the Agreement, and these General Conditions. The CM@Risk participates in the Pre-Construction Phase as set forth in the Agreement by, among other things, doing value engineering, evaluating costs and constructability, preparing schedules, implications of alternate designs and systems and materials during and after design of the Project. During construction, the CM@Risk assumes all risk for price and schedule under the Agreement and its GMP.

CM@Risk. (“Construction Manager at Risk” or “Contractor”) means the person, firm, corporation or other approved legal entity with whom City has contracted with to provide pre-construction services or construction services.

CM@Risk s Representative” means the person, firm, corporation, or other approved legal entity with which the CITY has entered into this Agreement and designated as such in this Contract.
CM@Risk means a general contractor or construction management firm entering into a contract with the Owner for the project. GMP means a guaranteed minimum price to complete the project under a CM@RISK contract.

  • high risk breach means that the threshold for notifying the individual is higher than that for notifying the relevant supervisory authority.

  • Low risk means normal, uncomplicated prenatal course as determined by adequate prenatal care and prospects for a normal, uncomplicated birth as defined by reasonable and generally accepted criteria of maternal and fetal health.

  • At-risk student means any identified student who needs additional support and who is not meeting or not expected to meet the established goals of the educational program (academic, personal/social, career/vocational). At-risk students include but are not limited to students in the following groups: homeless children and youth, dropouts, returning dropouts, and potential dropouts.

  • At risk means there is reason to believe injury, hazard, damage, or loss may occur.

  • Country Risks means with respect to any Foreign Depository: (a) the financial infrastructure of the country in which it is organized, (b) such country’s prevailing custody and settlement practices, (c) nationalization, expropriation or other governmental actions, (d) such country’s regulation of the banking or securities industry, (e) currency controls, restrictions, devaluations or fluctuations, and (f) market conditions which affect the order execution of securities transactions or affect the value of securities.

  • Renewable Energy Source means an energy source that is not fossil carbon-based, non- renewable or radioactive, and may include solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, landfill gas, or wave, tidal and thermal ocean technologies, and includes a Certified Renewable Energy Source.

  • Risk means the combination of the probability of occurrence of harm and the severity of that harm;
