Central registry definition

Central registry means the system maintained at the department that is used to keep a record of all reports filed with the department under this act in which relevant and accurate evidence of child abuse or child neglect is found to exist.
Central registry means the system through which the Iowa department of public health, division of behavioral health, obtains patient identifying information about individuals applying for maintenance or detoxification treatment for the purpose of preventing an individual’s concurrent enrollment in more than one such program.
Central registry means a subset of the child abuse and neglect information system and is the name index with identifying information of individuals named as an abuser and/or neglector in founded child abuse and/or neglect complaints or reports not currently under administrative appeal, maintained by the department.
