Area Lighting means lighting to assist people to avoid obstacles while moving around the exterior of a building.

Examples of Area Lighting in a sentence

  • Commercial Customer Group means Narragansett’s customers in the General C&I Rate G-02, Small C&I Rate C-06, Decorative Street and Area Lighting Rate S-06, Limited Private Lighting Rate S-10, and General Streetlighting Rate S-14 retail rate classes, or such other rate classes as may be added from time to time.

  • The permanent discontinuance of Decorative Street and Area Lighting Service is available under this tariff to any Customer that has complied with all provisions and terms of this tariff, any related service agreements and has requested permanent discontinuance, whereas, such discontinuance is the cessation of this tariff service and constitutes the complete removal or in-place retirement of the Company’s facilities at the location at which this service is discontinued.

  • Where a Service, other than a Street and Area Lighting Service, is Discontinued pursuant to Regulation 11(a), or Disconnected pursuant to Regulations 12(a), b(ii), (c) or (d) and the Customer subsequently requests that the Service be restored within 12 months, the Customer shall pay, in advance, the minimum monthly charges that would have been incurred over the period if the Service had not been Discontinued or Disconnected.

  • The charges for Street and Area Lighting Service may be included as a separate item on a bill for any other Service.

  • Where a Service other than Street and Area Lighting Service is not provided to the Customer for the full monthly billing period or where Street and Area Lighting Service is not provided for more than seven (7) days during the monthly billing period, the relevant charge to the Customer for the Service for that period may be prorated except where the failure to provide the Service is due to the Customer or to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Hydro.

  • The location of fixtures for Street and Area Lighting Service shall be determined by Hydro in consultation with the Customer.

  • Hydro shall not be required to provide Street and Area Lighting Service where, in the opinion of Hydro, the normal Service is unsuitable for the task or where the nature of the activities carried out in the area would likely result in damage to the poles, wiring or fixtures.

  • Street and Area Lighting Service under this rate does not include maintenance of street and area lighting equipment owned by the Customer.

  • REINSTATEMENT OF GENERAL STREET AND AREA LIGHTING – FULL SERVICE The provision of this service by the Company is predicated on the municipal Customer reinstating General Street and Area Lighting – Full Service.

Related to Area Lighting

  • Drainage area means a geographic area within which stormwater, sediments, or dissolved materials drain to a particular receiving waterbody or to a particular point along a receiving waterbody.

  • Common Area means all areas and facilities within the Project that are not designated by Landlord for the exclusive use of Tenant or any other lessee or other occupant of the Project, including the parking areas, access and perimeter roads, pedestrian sidewalks, landscaped areas, trash enclosures, recreation areas and the like.

  • mixed-use building means a building or structure containing a residential and non- residential use other than a home occupation;

  • Common Areas is defined as all areas and facilities outside the Premises and within the exterior boundary line of the Project and interior utility raceways and installations within the Unit that are provided and designated by the Lessor from time to time for the general non-exclusive use of Lessor, Lessee and other tenants of the Project and their respective employees, suppliers, shippers, customers, contractors and invitees, including parking areas, loading and unloading areas, trash areas, roadways, walkways, driveways and landscaped areas.

  • Network Area means the 50 mile radius around the local school campus the Named Insured is attending.

  • Carpet Area means the net usable floor, area of an Flat/Apartment, excluding the area covered by the external walls, areas under services shafts, excluding balcony or verandah area and exclusive open terrace, but includes the area covered by the internal partition walls of the flat/apartment;

  • Landscaped area means all the planting areas, turf areas, and water features in a landscape design plan subject to the Maximum Applied Water Allowance and Estimated Applied Water Use calculations. The landscaped area does not include footprints of buildings or structures, sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, decks, patios, gravel or stone walks, other pervious or non-pervious hardscapes, and other non-irrigated areas designated for non-development (e.g., open spaces and existing native vegetation).

  • Areas means such areas within the DAS Areas that are identified in Annexure A annexed to this Agreement;

  • Water Surface Elevation (WSE means the height, in relation to NAVD 1988, of floods of various magnitudes and frequencies in the floodplains of riverine areas.

  • Building means any structure used or intended for supporting or sheltering any use or occupancy.

  • Work area means a room or defined space in a workplace where hazardous chemicals are produced or used, and where employees are present.

  • Parking Open unreserved vehicle parking spaces ("UNRESERVED PARKING SPACES"); and reserved vehicle parking spaces ("RESERVED PARKING SPACES"). (Also see Paragraph 2.6.)

  • ILUA Area means the geographical area in relation to which the Framework ILUA applies, as specified in Schedule 2 of the Framework ILUA;

  • Building Systems The mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, sprinkler, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (“HVAC”), security, life-safety, elevator and other service systems or facilities of the Building up to the point of connection of localized distribution to the Premises.

  • Underground area means an underground room, such as a basement, cellar, shaft or vault, providing enough space for physical inspection of the exterior of the tank situated on or above the surface of the floor.

  • Telecommunications Equipment means equipment, other than Customer Premises Equipment, used by a Carrier to provide Telecommunications Services, and include software integral to such equipment, including upgrades.

  • Basement means any area of the building having its floor subgrade (below ground level) on all sides.

  • Storage area means any location, facility, or vehicle which is used to store, to transport, or to secure a radiographic exposure device, a storage container, or a sealed source when it is not in use and which is locked or has a physical barrier to prevent accidental exposure, tampering with, or unauthorized removal of the device, container, or source.
