401(k) Contributions Account definition

401(k) Contributions Account means an Account described in Section 6.1(a)(2).
401(k) Contributions Account means the separate account for each Participant which shall reflect his share of the Trust Fund attributable to 401(k) Contributions. A Participant's 401(k) Account also shall include his account under the Daedalus 401(k) Plan upon its merger into this Plan.
401(k) Contributions Account means the subaccount established under Section 4.1 attributable to 401(k) Contributions, as adjusted to reflect earnings and losses thereon.

Examples of 401(k) Contributions Account in a sentence

  • A Matching 401(k) Contributions Account shall be established for each Participant for whom Matching 401(k) Contributions are made, to which the Administrator shall credit, or cause to be credited, all such amounts allocable to each such Participant, plus earnings or losses thereon.

  • If the distribution is made from any Account other than a 401(k) Contributions Account, a distribution due to hardship may be made without application of Section 5.9.3(B), 5.9.3(C), or 5.9.3(D).

  • Subject to Section 5.1.2, a Participant's Benefit Commencement Date shall be as soon as practicable following his or her Fully Vested Separation, Partially Vested Separation or Nonvested Separation, if applicable, and in accordance with Section 5.6.   • Anything else contained herein to the contrary notwithstanding, no amount shall be offset against a Participant’s 401(k) Contributions Account and/or Roth 401(k) Contributions Account except at a time that a distribution would be permitted to the Participant, whether or not a loan is treated as a distribution for tax purposes under Section 72(p) of the Code.

  • A Participant who is called into active duty in Qualified Military Service for more than 30 days may take a distribution from his 401(k) Contributions Account or Roth 401(k) Contributions Account as if he had experienced a Termination of Employment.

401(k) Contributions Account means the subaccount recording the pre-tax 401(k) Contributions made to the Plan on behalf of a Participant pursuant to Section 4.7, as adjusted for allocations of income or loss, withdrawals, and other factors affecting the value of such subaccount.
401(k) Contributions Account means the subaccount established in the name of each Participant to which the Participant’s 401(k) Contributions and Catch-Up Contributions, including related investment gains and losses, are credited. A Participant’s 401(k) Contributions Account shall include any elective deferrals, and catch-up contributions under Code Section 414(v), transferred from another qualified retirement plan to this Plan, on behalf of the Participant, as a result of such plan merging with and into this Plan.

Related to 401(k) Contributions Account

  • Employer Contribution Account means, for any Participant, the account established by the Administrator or Trustee to which Employer Contributions made under Section 3.5 for the Participant's benefit are credited.

  • Voluntary Contribution Account means the account established and maintained by the Administrator for each Participant with respect to his total interest in the Plan resulting from the Participant's nondeductible voluntary contributions made pursuant to Section 4.12.

  • Contribution Account means an account, or accounts, into which the Accountholder and employer contributions are deposited by the TPA, and from which HSA dollars are swept into the Cash Account.

  • Rollover Contribution Account means the separate Account maintained for a Member to record such Member's share of the Trust Fund attributable to any Rollover Contribution made to the Plan on his behalf.

  • Catch-Up Contributions means Salary Reduction Contributions made to the Plan that are in excess of an otherwise applicable Plan limit and that are made by Participants who are Age 50 or over by the end of their taxable years. An “otherwise applicable Plan limit” is a limit in the Plan that applies to Salary Reduction Contributions without regard to Catch-up Contributions, such as the limits on Annual Additions, the dollar limitation on Salary Reduction Contributions under Code Section 402(g) (not counting Catch-up Contributions) and the limit imposed by the Actual Deferral Percentage (ADP) test under Code Section 401(k)(3). Catch-up Contributions for a Participant for a taxable year may not exceed the dollar limit on Catch-up Contributions under Code Section 414(v)(2)(B)(i) for the taxable year. The dollar limit on Catch-up Contributions under Code Section 414(v)(2)(B)(i) is $1,000 for taxable years beginning in 2002, increasing by $1,000 for each year thereafter up to $5,000 for taxable years beginning in 2006 and later years. After 2006, the $5,000 limit will be adjusted by the Secretary of the Treasury for cost-of-living increases under Code Section 414(v)(2)(C). Any such adjustments will be in multiples of $500.

  • Discretionary Contribution means the contribution made by the Employer on behalf of a Participant as described in Section 4.4(b).

  • Voluntary Contributions means voluntary amounts contributed by a member or participating member into a health reimbursement account. However, to the extent required by applicable law, voluntary amounts shall not be contributed through a salary reduction election under a cafeteria plan pursuant to section 125 of the internal revenue code, 26 USC 125.

  • Cash Account has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1(a)(ii).

  • Savings Account means an account, which is based on Mudarabah and its profit shall be calculated based on the profit earned on any balance maintained above the minimum threshold or average threshold (as may be agreed upon with the Bank).
