Common use of Witness/Jury Duty Clause in Contracts

Witness/Jury Duty. Where a teacher is required to be absent by reason of receipt of a summons to attend as a juror or by reason of receipt of a subpoena as a witness in which the teacher is not a party to the proceeding. Any conduct money received by the teacher to appear as a witness will be given to the Board.
