Voluntary Work Schedule Adjustment Program. 3 Employees in this Bargaining Unit shall be eligible to participate in the Voluntary 5 on an individual and completely voluntary basis. 7 An employee may volunteer to participate in the program by submitting a 8 completed standard voluntary work schedule adjustment agreement form to his or her 9 supervisor/manager. The supervisor/manager and the Appointing Authority shall 10 respond, in writing, to all requests within twenty (20) working days. Bargaining Xxxx 00 employees shall continue to have the right, by not submitting a standard agreement 12 form, not to participate in either of the program’s two plans. 14 Discretion to approve or disapprove an employee’s request to participate in Plan A 15 or Plan C is reserved to the supervisor/manager and Appointing Authority, based upon 16 whether such participation would adversely impact upon the department’s operations 17 and/or budget. Once approved, the individual agreement may be terminated by the 18 Appointing Authority or the employee upon giving ten (10) working days written notice to 19 the other (or less, upon agreement of the employee and the Appointing Authority). 20 Termination shall be at the end of the pay period. Termination of the Agreement by the 21 Appointing Authority shall not be grievable.
