Vacation Statutory Holidays. Bereavement leave, casual time off, time off in lieu of overtime, authorized Union Business or leave prescribed by the Employment Standards Act, 2000 are considered hours worked. Such earned credits shall be cumulative. Sick leave credits will accumulate to a maximum of eighty-five (85) days. [For employees hired after February 1, 1985, sick leave credits in excess of eighty- five (85) days may be used until the balance is reduced to the cap of eighty- five (85) days] An absence (or absences) for any other reason shall mean the employee does not earn sick leave credits for that month, provided the cumulative total of such absences was greater than two (2) days (fourteen (14) hours or for Provincial Offences Officers seventeen point five (17.5) hours) or more.
Vacation Statutory Holidays. Each member shall be for vacation with pay on the following basis: For the purpose of this clause, the member's date be the date of record of the member's seniority date.

  • Vacation; Holidays The Executive shall be entitled to all public holidays observed by the Company and vacation days in accordance with the applicable vacation policies for senior executives of the Company, which shall be taken at a reasonable time or times.

  • Vacation, Holidays and Sick Leave During the Term, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation, paid holidays and sick leave in accordance with the Company's standard policies for its senior executive officers.

  • Vacation; Sick Leave During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to not less than four (4) weeks of vacation during each calendar year and sick leave in accordance with the Company’s policies and practices with respect to its executives.

  • Vacation, Sick Leave and Holidays Executive shall be entitled in each calendar year to four (4) weeks of paid vacation time. Each vacation shall be taken by Executive at such time or times as agreed upon by the Company and Executive, and any portion of Executive’s allowable vacation time not used during the calendar year shall be subject to the Company’s payroll policies regarding carryover vacation. Executive shall be entitled to holiday and sick leave in accordance with the Company’s holiday and other pay for time not worked policies.

  • Designated Holidays A part-time employee shall not be paid for the designated holidays but shall, instead be paid a premium of four and one-quarter (4.25%) per cent for all straight-time hours during the period of part-time employment.

  • Annual Holidays (i) On completion of 12 months continuous service an employee shall be entitled to annual paid leave of 4 working weeks.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday.

  • Holidays The following days are observed as holidays by state agencies in accordance with section 110.117, F.S.: • New Year’s Day • Birthday of Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx., third Monday in January • Memorial Day • Independence Day • Labor Day • Veterans’ Day, November 11 • Thanksgiving Day • Friday after Thanksgiving • Christmas Day If any of these holidays falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be observed as a holiday.   • PLANT HOLIDAYS 6.01 All employees covered by this Agreement will receive eight (8) hours pay at their regular straight time rates for each of the following Plant Holidays (regardless of the day on which the holiday falls) in addition to any wages which they may be in receipt of for work performed on such holidays:
