Unpaid Leave of Absence Due to Illness. The Keystone Local Board of Education is required by law to grant a leave of absence, for a period of not more than two (2) consecutive school years where illness or other disability is the reason. A written request must be sent to the Board for such a leave.

Unpaid Leave of Absence Due to Illness. (a) Long Term Occasional Teachers who continue to be absent due to personal illness after their sick leave accounts have become exhausted shall be deemed to be on leave of absence due to personal illness.
