Long Term Occasional Teachers or teachers hired in term positions, shall be eligible for the SEB as described herein for a maximum of eight (8) weeks with the length of the benefit limited by the term of the assignment. Teachers on daily casual assignments are not entitled to the benefits outlined in this article.
Long Term Occasional Teachers with an assignment of at least ninety-seven (97) school days in length shall also be eligible for the SEB plan with the length of the benefit limited by the term of the assignment.
Long Term Occasional Teachers. L.B.2.1 A Long Term Occasional Teacher shall be paid in accordance with the salary grid and with additional degrees and certificates in effect pursuant to the Board’s Elementary Teachers’ Collective Agreement. This amount includes the total of vacation and statutory holiday pay to which the Long Term Occasional Teacher is entitled under the applicable legislation.
Long Term Occasional Teachers a) The salary for a part-time Long-Term Occasional Teacher shall be pro-rated in accordance with Article 26.12 of the District 14 OSSTF Teachers’ Bargaining Unit Collective Agreement.
Long Term Occasional Teachers. Weather conditions preventing a Long Term Occasional Teacher from attending work shall not interrupt the continuity of
Long Term Occasional Teachers. 10.2.0. A Long Term Occasional Teacher shall be paid in accordance with the salary grid set out in the current collective agreement for the Board’s Elementary Teachers and such payment shall be retroactive to the beginning of the term of this Agreement. Such payment shall be inclusive of all vacation and statutory holiday pay. Placement on the grid shall be in accordance with the Long Term Occasional Teacher's recognized teaching experience and category placement following confirmation by the Board of the appointment to the long term occasional teaching assignment. Payment on the elementary teachers' salary grid shall be retroactive to the first day of the long term occasional teaching assignment. The Long Term Occasional Teacher shall be paid as set out herein until the expiration of the long term occasional assignment.
Long Term Occasional Teachers. 12.1.0. A Long Term Occasional Teacher shall be paid in accordance with the salary grid set out in the current collective agreement for the Board’s secondary teachers but such payment shall be made only after the ratification of this Agreement and shall be retroactive to the beginning of the term of this Agreement. Such payment shall be the amount set out in the grid less an amount equivalent to the total of vacation and statutory holiday pay to which the Occasional Teacher is entitled under applicable legislation. Placement on the grid shall be in accordance with the Long Term Occasional Teacher's recognized teaching experience and category placement following confirmation by the Board of the appointment to the long term occasional teaching assignment. Payment on the secondary teachers' salary grid shall be retroactive to the first day of the long term occasional teaching assignment. The Long Term Occasional Teacher shall be paid as set out herein until the expiration of the long term occasional teaching assignment.
Long Term Occasional Teachers a) A Long Term Elementary Occasional Teacher as defined in Article 3 shall be paid in accordance with the applicable Salary Grid for the Board’s Elementary Teachers for the term of his/her assignment. Related experience will be recognized in accordance with the practice for Elementary Teachers.
Long Term Occasional Teachers. A Long Term Occasional Teacher shall be placed on the current Durham Elementary Teachers' Salary Grid with the recognized teaching experience and category placement in accordance with Section L10.06 of this Agreement. Long Term Occasional Teachers shall continue to be paid according to the current Durham Elementary Teachers' Salary Grid until the termination of the assignment. Where consecutive days of supply teaching immediately precede a Long Term Occasional assignment for the same teaching assignment, payment on the salary grid shall be retroactive to the first day of the supply teaching.
Long Term Occasional Teachers are eligible for the SEB plan with the length of the benefit limited by the term of the assignment.
