Uniformed Assignments. The Employer shall provide all new members with all equipment and clothing (initial issue) which is required by the Employer for uniformed assignments. Detectives shall be provided with a clothing allowance on a semi-annual basis. During the first pay period of the year and the first pay period in the month of July, Detectives will receive a uniform maintenance allowance equal to one-half (½) of the annual uniform allowance allocated for the Detective during that year; provided that upon initial appointment as a Detective, the member shall receive the total yearly allowance immediately to enable him or her to adequately secure necessary clothing for the position. The Detective clothing allowance shall be $1,000.00 per year. After the initial issue, members in uniformed assignments shall receive an annual uniform and equipment replacement allowance credit in the amount of $1,000.00 and Detectives will receive an annual uniform and equipment replacement allowance credit in the amount of $300.00. Such credit shall be placed with a vendor selected by the Employer effective January 1 of each year. Replacement of ballistic/stab resistant vests, or the addition of new uniform items and/or equipment, shall not be counted against the credit established in this section. Any newly hired member that has been hired within six months prior to January 1 the following year shall receive one-half (1/2) of the allowance, $500.00.

  • Permitted Assignments Any Lender may, in the ordinary course of its business and in accordance with applicable law, at any time assign to one or more banks or other entities ("PURCHASERS") all or a portion of its rights and obligations under this Agreement (including, without limitation, its Commitment, all Loans owing to it, all of its participation interests in existing Letters of Credit, and its obligation to participate in additional Letters of Credit hereunder) in accordance with the provisions of this SECTION 13.3. Each assignment shall be of a constant, and not a varying, ratable percentage of all of the assigning Lender's rights and obligations under this Agreement. Such assignment shall be effected through an Assignment Agreement substantially in the form of EXHIBIT A hereto and shall not be permitted hereunder unless such assignment is either for all of such Lender's rights and obligations under the Loan Documents or, without the prior written consent of the Agent, involves Loans and Commitments in an aggregate amount of at least $5,000,000. The consent of the Agent and, prior to the occurrence of a Default or Unmatured Default, the Borrower (which consent, in each such case, shall not be unreasonably withheld), shall be required prior to an assignment becoming effective with respect to a Purchaser which is not a Lender or an Affiliate thereof. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any Lender may at any time, without the consent of the Borrower or the Agent, assign all or any portion of its rights under this Agreement and its Notes to a Federal Reserve Bank; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that no such assignment shall release the transferor Lender from its obligations hereunder.

  • Training Assignments The Supervisor or designee may establish written training assignments to enable an employee to gain the additional experience and training required for the job for a period of time not to exceed two years. At the completion of the training assignment, the employee’s pay will be set no less than the entry rate of pay for the occupational pay band.

  • Teacher Assignments 6.10.1 Non-probationary teachers will be given the opportunity to indicate in writing their preference as to subject and grade assignment for the next school year. A teacher who desires a change of assignment within a school shall submit a Preference Form to the School Director. The preference will be considered when making assignments.

  • Summer Assignments Employees who worked less than a 12-month schedule at the 10 time of their work-related accident will not be guaranteed summer employment while 11 participating in the Alternate Duty Program.

  • Prohibited Assignments Any purported assignment of this Agreement not in compliance with the provisions of this Article 14 shall be null and void.

  • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.

  • Room Assignments A. The University draws students from many states, nations, races and religions. It will be the responsibility of each resident to respect the rights of all residents in university residence halls. Admission to Texas A&M University – Texarkana and any of its sponsored programs is open to qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability. Room and roommate assignments are made without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.

  • Housing Assignments The University assigns Licensee to a bed space and does not guarantee specific room types, buildings, communities, or roommates. The University shall have the right to reassign the Licensee to a different bed space without the Licensee’s consent prior to or during the term of the Agreement.

  • Teaching Assignments No employee shall be assigned to teach in a grade level and/or subject area not within the scope of his/her teaching certificate, except where a position within his/her certification is unavailable or when mutually agreed to by the affected employee and principal, or when determined necessary by the principal. Employees assigned to positions outside the scope of their certificates shall be assigned as soon as possible to positions for which they hold certification.

  • SPECIAL TEACHING ASSIGNMENTS A. Assignments for the Adult Education, Driver Education and Summer School Program will be made by the Board on the basis of preference to teachers possessing permanent teaching certificates regularly employed in the district during the normal school year.
