Twelve hour shifts for Security Officers. This clause only applies to employees engaged as Security Officers. With a mutual written agreement between the Mater and an employee, an employee’s ordinary rostered hours, on any shift, may be up to 12 hours. Notwithstanding this, the ordinary hours of work for any full-time employee who participates in 12 hour shifts shall be an average of 38 hours per week over a roster period (up to a six month period). An employee will not be rostered for ordinary rostered shifts which commence on more than four consecutive days. An employee will not be rostered for ordinary rostered shifts for a period of between three and six days, between the conclusion of one period of rostered shifts and the commencement of the next period of rostered shifts. The Parties acknowledge that the following provisions of the District Health Services Employees Award are expressly excluded, and will not be pursued by any Party during the operation of this Agreement:

  • Security Officers a) All Security officers must be registered with PSIRA grade C and above.

  • Field Training Officers The position of Field Training Officer (FTO) shall be held by a Trooper or Sergeant who most closely meets the requirements set forth by the Employer which are outlined in policy OSP-501.08. If the Employer determines there are an insufficient number of qualified volunteers, it may appoint other individuals to be FTOs. The District Commander shall make the final selections. A supplement of eight hundred dollars ($800.00) shall be given to all FTOs for the sixty (60) working day training period. This amount will be prorated in instances where the training period is cut short or lengthened. Field Training Officers and their trainees will be required to work twenty (20) days on each of the three shifts during the training period.
