to 9 p.m. shift:. On Saturday and Sunday the volunteer shall appear before a Judicial Justice of the Peace to deal with any overnight arrests. The volunteer shall also be responsible for conduct of the email mailbox for all rural matters arising in the Province, answering all calls with respect to bail issues before the Judicial Justice of the Peace, including those from defence counsel, the Judicial Justice of the Peace and police officers until 9 p.m., and conducting all hearings before the Judicial Justice of the Peace for these matters. The volunteer shall be compensated at the rate below in total for both days and, in addition be provided “one day off in lieu” for both days. For continuity and operational reasons, a Crown Attorney who volunteers for the weekend is expected to cover the entire weekend shift. Effective the first day of the biweekly pay period following the date of signing of this Agreement: $1,250.00 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. shift: On Saturday and Sunday the volunteer shall be responsible for attending all hearings before the Judicial Justice of the Peace that occur between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 11 p.m. dealing with Winnipeg matters. Outside of these duties, the volunteer shall be responsible for conduct of the email mailbox for Winnipeg matters, including reviewing and providing disclosure, and communicating with defence counsel, the Judicial Justice of the Peace, and police officers. The volunteer shall be compensated at the rate below in total for both days and, in addition be provided “one day off in lieu” for both days. For continuity and operational reasons, a Crown Attorney who volunteers for the weekend is expected to cover the entire weekend shift.   • Extra Shifts Where an employee agrees to work or is required by the Employer to work a shift(s) or portion thereof, in excess of the employee’s scheduled work week, the employee will receive pay at the rate of one and one‐half (1½) times the employee’s regular hourly rate for such excess hours worked, with a minimum of three (3) hours at the rate of one and one‐half (1½) times the employee’s regular rate of pay.

  • Rotating Shifts Nurses required to work rotating shifts (days, evenings and nights) shall be scheduled in such a way as to equitably as possible assign the rotation. This does not preclude a Nurse from being continuously assigned to an evening or night shift if the Nurse and the Employer mutually agree to such an arrangement.

  • PERSONNEL FOLDERS A. An employee shall be entitled to review the contents of his/her official departmental personnel folder at reasonable intervals, upon request, during hours when the office in which records are housed is open for business. Such review shall not interfere with the normal business of the department, office, or bureau.

  • Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.

  • Start-Up and Synchronization Consistent with the mutually acceptable procedures of the Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner, the Developer is responsible for the proper synchronization of the Large Generating Facility to the New York State Transmission System in accordance with NYISO and Connecting Transmission Owner procedures and requirements.

  • Shift Rotation Routine shift rotation is not an approach to staffing endorsed by the Employer. Except for emergency situations where it may be necessary to provide safe patient care, shift rotation will not be utilized without mutual consent. If such an occasion should ever occur, volunteers will be sought first. If no one volunteers, the Employer will rotate shifts on an inverse seniority basis until the staff vacancies are filled.

  • Work Shift The hours an employee is scheduled to work each workday in a workweek.
